Mantra Deeksha

Resp. Guruji's & Dear List,

It is said that the mantra deeksha should be taken from a Guru who

has himself done purashcaharanas and obtained mantra siddhi of the

same mantra. Although the Guru always saves and protects his

disciples and guides him to the marga of both bhukti and mukti but

getting a Guru who has manta siddhi is an extremely difficult task.

 

I would like to know, whether there is any alternate way by which

mantra could be started even when there has been no Mantra deeksha by

a siddha guru, although in shastras taking mantra from a pustak has

been condemned.
