Guest guest
For eg For TAURUS LAGNA MAKAR RASI is BADHAKESH as per astrological texts SO SANI IS BADHAKESH BUT for TAURUS LAGNA SANI ALSO IS CONSIDERED THE BEST YOGAKARAKA . Then that means TAURUS LAGNA PEOPLE HAVE NO BHAGYA because 9th house is Badhakesh . What if SANI as 9th Lord is sitting in 9th and VARGOTTAM then that person is finished because SANI AS BADHAKESH is sitting very strongly in Badhakesh Stan. What if this person wears AMETHYST or BLUE SAPPHIRE is he FINISHED ? More so if he has SANI dasa. OR BY BADHAKESH we can say that for TAURUS LAGNA the results of 9th house will not FLOW very easily but will flow with obstacles and delay. Then how to reduce the Badhakesh effect of SANI more so if SANI is sitting in Badhak Stan. Can any body explain. ALL-NEW Messenger - all new features - even more fun! Guest guest
Hello Sundeep: Don't pay much attention to this concept, it's one of the nonsensical concepts in Vedic astrology. In your example (Taurus lagna) and in my case (Scorpio lagna), the 9th house is the badhak house and the 9th lord is badhakesh. Can the 9th lord, the most auspicious lord, be a creator of grief? No way!!! I recently went through the mahadasa of Moon, the 9th lord and badhak lord, this Mahadasa took me to the Pinnacle of academia and finance-- and everything came EASY--there were no badhaks (hindrances). Almost all astrologers had predicted doom and gloom in my Moon mahadasa because it was the badhakesh. However, the badhak concept seems to be very popular amongst uninformed astrologers who read little books and make their ridiculous predictions. In my opinion, the atrributes of 9th lord dominates over the badhakesh attributes in the 9th lord mahadasa.--but, my opinion doesn't matter as I'm a nobody in Vedic astrology. Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Dear Mukund, > In my opinion, the atrributes of 9th lord dominates over the > badhakesh attributes in the 9th lord mahadasa.--but, my opinion I think Badakesh is just 'like the Catalyst' to the problem. The actual problem creators are like 6th or 8th lord (maybe 3 too). Badakesh cannot unleash the power of unknown until you already have a weakness which is shown by the 6th, 8th lord. But some authors like Ramanujacharya of Bhavaartha Ratnakaara opines that for Ta lagna Saturn even being the Yogakaaraka as per Parasaara does not bring fortune easily. I think this is because Saturn is kaaraka of dushtaanas tied up being a Badakesh can cause fortune to come with difficultly. In Bhavaartha Ratnakaara it also said that mere association of 9th lord with 10th for Leo and Aquarius lagna is not enough to produce a Rajayoga. In both the case He has not given the Power of ninth lord easily. So there is more in understanding the Badhakesh. Warm Regards Sanjay P.
