Guest guest
Dear Imran Bhai, Following explicit instructions in Sanjay Ji's books Narayan Dasha and MJUS, the following principles are to be applied. If I am in error, I ought to be corrected. 1. For matters pertaining to the native himself (AL) the counting is always zodiacal. Similarly for UL. This is irrespective of the Rashi. 2. For matters pertaining to siblings and progeny, the counting is zodiacal in case of odd Rashis and anti-zodiacal for even Rashis. In Varga charts like Drekkana and Saptamsha, the counting will depend on Rashi rising in Lagna. 3. In case of Ketu and reckoning of Argala and planetary positions, it seems the counting is always to be in reverse accd. to the Jaimini dictum Vipreetum Ketouh! This is what I could gather from a reading of Pt. Rath's books. If I am in error, the fault is only mine. Regards. Hence the planetary positions (as well as Argala) should be reckoned in the reverse.
