Guest guest
Dear Ramesh ji Thanks for posting this chart and your analysis.Could you kindly provide the major gains for the individual during Guru Dasha. Dear Chandrashekhar ji Similar to your Bhrashta views I have read somewhere that pandavas lost their kingdom when jupiter was transiting 4th(Chathurthe Pandava Bhrashta).Transit jupiter when in 4th in this case will be 4th from natal jupiter as well. Thus forming 4/10 rel with natal jupiter. Is that a reason for your explanation that 4th house (shift of residence) and 10th house (profession) will be impacted? Also jupiter is aspecting 10th house and 12th house from transit position. But will the influence of jupiter as 6th lord (12th to 7th as you have mentioned) keep him away from his wife (12th showing distance from 7th).Saturn will be conjuncting natal jupiter and aspecting 10th house. How should one analyse this strong influence of saturn and jupiter on the lagna,4th and 10th houses.6th lordship of jupiter and maraka lordship of saturn are puzzling.Kindly help to analyse such situations. When gochara saturn was igniting natal moon ,which was also his ascendant lord and the house being 12th,the individual was displaced.Since this moon is in gandanta the individual might had taken this decision out of confusion. This 7th lord saturn was aspecting the 9th house igniting natal saturn and 2nd house as well. Thus many travel and family displacement indications were there. Also this was in 4/10 rel with natal saturn. Now he should be under the influence of the last stage of sade sathi and hence health and money matters should be carefully dealt with the coming transit.Kindly correct me. General doubts. 9th lording forming Hamsa in ascendant should had given great gains in this case? Why was that not there (if there was not any)? Was that because of dispositor moon in 12th and in gandanta? Also moon is in 12th to jupiter the yogakaraka -Thus whatever jupiter was giving, gandanta moon was unable to protect fully.Moons dispositor mercury is also debilitated.Jupiter himself is in the beginning of Rashi. Thus should we assume that the strength of yoga has been considerably reduced? Now mercury though debilitated has attained NBRYand exalted in navamsha. Thus saturn who is with this NBRY karaka mercury in 9th (whose dispositor is also exalted) should be a good dasha?,coupled with maraka nature of saturn! Can Saturn-Mercury be really good? Guest guest
Dear Pradeep, Jupiter does harm the house that it is posited in. This is not only my views, astrological texts support this. Dual rasi lordship when one is a dusthana and other auspicious sthana should, in my view be examined in line with what Parashara has made abunduntaly clear. This is the generally accepted view. Some astrologers including the Venerated Dr. B.V. Raman hold some of the dusthanas as being neutral and have, perhaps their own reasons to do so. The reason may be that some do not give inimical status to Trik sthana while taking into consideration dusthanas. I do. My view is that for change of place, 4th and 12th house should have some harm coming their way. 4th is not only the Matru sthana, but also of one's own place of residence. Others more learned than me could have different views. I would not say he would be away from his wife since around that time saturn would be still aspecting 7th which is owned by Saturn and as such the bhava will be Pushta. One could even say 6th and 8th lords in Lagna could give him some rise. Analysis of a chart depends on many indications per house. Generally, results of only one of the many indications of a house are seen to happen. Transits, Dashas and Natal Positions have to be correlated to arrive at the likely prediction. This is the reason the ancient sages talked about Viveka to be used by Jyotishi. Always remember the fact that all the houses of a horoscope are linked to each other.Even the charts of family members impact each other. For an event to happen, more than one of them have to be affected in a way that one can safely say that an event is likely to happen at a certain time. Perhaps an example, here, would not be out of place. In an extreme case like death of a person with serious illness, I prefer to look at his 8th and 6th house as all do. I also look at his wife's chart to find out whether she has a vaidhavya yoga and if available at the children's horoscopes to find out if they have loss of father at the relevant time, before announcing the possibility of his not surviving. If the yogas are not there in the wife and children's charts, i prefer to say that he will recover after the serious illness. In my experience, this has turned out to be correct, even when the Doctors had not given more than 48 hours for the patient's survival. Another example would be matching charts for marriage. My method is to look at 7th as all do,2nd,12th and 5th house before I come to any conclusions. If you look at the indications of the houses the reason would be clear. So to sum up, try to analyse how the house under immediate consideration is likely to be impacted by other related houses, study the impact on them and this would lead to a fairly accurate prediction, with the grace of the Lord. Hope this helps, Chandrashekhar. vijayadas_pradeep wrote: > Dear Ramesh ji > > Thanks for posting this chart and your analysis.Could you kindly > provide the major gains for the individual during Guru Dasha. > > Dear Chandrashekhar ji > Similar to your Bhrashta views I have read somewhere that pandavas > lost their kingdom when jupiter was transiting 4th(Chathurthe Pandava > Bhrashta).Transit jupiter when in 4th in this case will be 4th from > natal jupiter as well. Thus forming 4/10 rel with natal jupiter. Is > that a reason for your explanation that 4th house (shift of > residence) and 10th house (profession) will be impacted? Also jupiter > is aspecting 10th house and 12th house from transit position. But will > the influence of jupiter as 6th lord (12th to 7th as you have > mentioned) keep him away from his wife (12th showing distance from > 7th).Saturn will be conjuncting natal jupiter and aspecting 10th > house. How should one analyse this strong influence of saturn and > jupiter on the lagna,4th and 10th houses.6th lordship of jupiter and > maraka lordship of saturn are puzzling.Kindly help to analyse such > situations. > When gochara saturn was igniting natal moon ,which was also his > ascendant lord and the house being 12th,the individual was > displaced.Since this moon is in gandanta the individual might had > taken this decision out of confusion. This 7th lord saturn was > aspecting the 9th house igniting natal saturn and 2nd house as > well. Thus many travel and family displacement indications were > there. Also this was in 4/10 rel with natal saturn. Now he should be > under the influence of the last stage of sade sathi and hence health > and money matters should be carefully dealt with the coming > transit.Kindly correct me. > > General doubts. > 9th lording forming Hamsa in ascendant should had given great gains > in this case? Why was that not there (if there was not any)? > > Was that because of dispositor moon in 12th and in gandanta? Also moon > is in 12th to jupiter the yogakaraka -Thus whatever jupiter was > giving, gandanta moon was unable to protect fully.Moons dispositor > mercury is also debilitated.Jupiter himself is in the beginning of > Rashi. Thus should we assume that the strength of yoga has been > considerably reduced? > > Now mercury though debilitated has attained NBRYand exalted in > navamsha. Thus saturn who is with this NBRY karaka mercury in 9th > (whose dispositor is also exalted) should be a good dasha?,coupled > with maraka nature of saturn! Guest guest
Dear Chandrashekhar ji Thanks a lot for the numerous valuable tips and knowledge shared through your reply. Thanks for sharing your experiences and for the detailed mail. Now as per Paashara Rahu in karka is a karaka for power/position.Thus can saturn be also considered as good for Cancer Lagna people especially when placed in lagna or aspecting it? This is just a doubt and i am tring to guess why Dr.Raman might have thought of saturn in a different way.I have read from web sites of Shri.Sanjay Rath ji that saturn in cancer lagna is powerful. What could be the reason - is it because of the Rahu/Cancer explanation from Parashara combined with Sanivat Rahu. Guest guest
Dear Pradeep, Saturn posited in Cancer Lagna is a different proposition, not because he becomes a fully benefic planet, but because he aspects his own house Capricorn with 7th house aspect, making the 7th bhava very strong. This could translate into cooperation from not only his spouse but large group followers. He could also come from a family having a large following (especially Patrilineal) and having good inheritance, since Saturn is also lord of 8th Katweji gave great weightage to such factors, and rightly so. Parashara's statement also has to be understood in that perspective with regards to Rahu. However now way could 7th lord being a Maraka could be termed a functional benefic, is what I think. Hope this helps, Chandrashekhar. vijayadas_pradeep wrote: > Dear Chandrashekhar ji > Thanks a lot for the numerous valuable tips and knowledge shared > through your reply. > > Thanks for sharing your experiences and for the detailed mail. > > Now as per Paashara Rahu in karka is a karaka for power/position.Thus > can saturn be also considered as good for Cancer Lagna people > especially when placed in lagna or aspecting it? Guest guest
Dear Chandrashekhar ji Thanks for your reply and explanation. Yes I have found (you may kindly read my other posts with respect to an example chart) that saturn in lagna as 7th lord was not good for married/spouse relationships. Smt .Indira Gandhi and if correct Sonia Gandhi have got this position. And it explains their followership. But VinayPatwardhan ji has mentioned about Abhishek Yoga.Kinldy explain if you know more. It was interesting to note the inheritance role.So 8th house denotes sudden gains ,inheritance, sudden difficulties etc ?If 8th lord is aspecting 8th does it strengthen the 8th house. If numerous planets are aspecting the 8th house along with 8th lord - what does it signify?I have this question as my 8th house(cancer) has Ketu aspected by 5 planets including 8th lord moon, placed in 2nd. Guest guest
Dear Pradeep, I have not come across Abhisheka Yoga, and so it would not be correct for me to comment on it. Vinayji is quite knowledgeable and may like to comment on origin of Abhisheka yoga. In so far as my personal opinion goes, yogas are like empirical formula and should never be taken in isolation. Other factors like aspects/conjunctions etc. of other planets and their house ownership should be evaluated before coming to any conclusion. Like in your case 4 planets together in one house (2nd) is Pravrajya yoga( excluding Rahu, as he is not considered for that yoga). You might act detached from your family for some period of time when appropriate dasha and transit occurs, but would certainly not obtain Pravrajya. 8th lord aspecting the 8th, no doubt strengthens the 8th house, especially in your case where Moon does not attract Ashtamesh dosha. However the fact that Moon is a bit weak being afflicted by Rahu has also to be borne in mind. By the way, I do not seem to have your chart. Do send it to me. Guest guest
` nmae naray[ay, om namo näräyaëäya| Dear Vijaydas Pradeep, As per my knowledge, Makara is Shani's Swakshetra which is called as Eshwaramsha and Karka is ruled by Chandra which indicates Godess Parvati. So Shani sitting in Karka indicates He is Ardha Naareeshwara and so he is very powerful. Also this Rashi is the exaltation sign of Guru.So he acts like Guru or the person having Authority. In Karka, Guru is sitting over Ksheera Sagara and is indicative of Lord Brahma. So Shani in Karka Rashi mainly at the exaltation degree of Guru ie., 5 degrees will be very strong to give Maha Raja Yoga. I hope this helps you. With Shri Hari Vaayu Naama Smarana, Ramadas Rao.vijayadas_pradeep <vijayadas_pradeep > wrote: Dear Chandrashekhar jiThanks a lot for the numerous valuable tips and knowledge shared through your reply. Guest guest
Dear Chandrashekhar ji Ramadas ji has mentioned today about shanis importance in karka. I have understood the essence of yogas as you have conveyed the empirical nature of yogas many times. Thanks a lot. I have read from your mails to the list that a full moon would strenghten its house than a waning one as in my case.I was born on krishna trayodashi and hence weak in paksha bala.Rahu is 8 degrees away but still eclipsing moon.Moon is vargottama, may be this helps a bit. What is your opinion regarding considering 9th house of ladies for child matters. I will send my chart to you. Guest guest
Dear Ramadas ji I remember reading this eshwaramsha analysis from you sometime back, sorry for forgetting that.Ksheerasagara and similar analysis i beleive is from nadi astrology. Thanks a lot. In this chart i have observed after your mail that shani is sitting at 4 degrees almost near to exaltation degree. Hope to learn more regarding this after your holidays.Wishing you all the best. Guest guest
Dear Pradeep, In case of Moon pakshabala is no doubt of great importance. Vargottama planet also does have strength and needs special status to be accorded it. Rahu with greater longitude than Moon is more problematic than with lesser Longitude than Moon's longitude. Remember that Rahu moves apasavya. If I remember right, Stree Jataka does suggest taking 9th house for Ladies for consideration of progeny. There are different views on the subject including reverse counting for even Lagna. Actually 9th being in trines to 5th analysis would remain some what identical, is the way I think. Personally, I count 5th for progeny in natal but use regular and reverse for Odd and even rasi Lagna in Saptamsha. By the way, Maansaagari describes effects of Saturn in Cancer quite to the point. Hope this helps, Chandrashekhar. vijayadas_pradeep wrote: > Dear Chandrashekhar ji > > Ramadas ji has mentioned today about shanis importance in karka. > I have understood the essence of yogas as you have conveyed the > empirical nature of yogas many times. Thanks a lot. > > I have read from your mails to the list that a full moon would > strenghten its house than a waning one as in my case.I was born on > krishna trayodashi and hence weak in paksha bala.Rahu is 8 degrees > away but still eclipsing moon.Moon is vargottama, may be this helps a > bit. > > What is your opinion regarding considering 9th house of ladies for > child matters. > > I will send my chart to you. > > Respect > Pradeep > > vedic astrology, Chandrashekhar <boxdel> > wrote: > > Dear Pradeep, > > I have not come across Abhisheka Yoga, and so it would not be > correct > > for me to comment on it.
Guest guest
Satyam Bruyat Priyam Bruyat Dear Jayashree, A very interesting observation! Regards Ramesh Jayashree [jayashree_ravi (AT) msn (DOT) com]Sent: Saturday, June 05, 2004 3:07 AMvedic astrologySubject: [vedic astrology] Re: Case analysis, Break from - Transit jupiter in 4thNamaste respected all,I really beg the pardon of the learned members of this forum if what I think makes no sense, but I actually think that 2 vastly different (w.r.t planetary placements, dasa/bhukti timings, etc) ayanamsas such as Raman. vs. Lahiri are both correct, and I think that Raman is progressive of Lahiri. What makes me think so is that learned Jyotishis who use either of these ayanamsas can still justify an event with equal merit when given completely different dasa/bhuktis. So this makes me wonder that planets, dasas and bhuktis under Lahiri indicate the inclination towards the state of events and operation that would unfold during its correlated Raman dasa/bhukti. For example, keeping in mind what the planetary states and likely events would be under a Raman ayanamsa period, a jyotishi could determine the unfolding of events as under Lahiri period, such as the former is lead from the latter. (In the counting of rosaries, one bead leads to another and the happening of the count of the 108th bead is the result of having counted 107 beads serially before it). In this case study chart, I noticed that none of the planets are either in Rasi sandhi or Gandanta when under Raman ayanamsa. I have noticed Jyotishi Rohini Ranjan stating several times under the QA in former astroexpert.com that when considering the avastha, especially sandhi and Gandanta, is really a time to view the same planet under Raman ayanamsa to infer its true nature (as to if it is Rasi sandhi or not) and I believe due to this, in this chart, the planets are well-disposed and not really in gandanta or sandhi. Again I beg the pardon if I'm completely wrong, but I have been wondering along these lines for quite sometime. Thanks & best regards,Jayashreevedic astrology, "vijayadas_pradeep" <vijayadas_pradeep> wrote:> Dear Ramesh ji> > Thanks for posting this chart and your analysis.Could you kindly > provide the major gains for the individual during Guru Dasha.> > Dear Chandrashekhar ji> Similar to your Bhrashta views I have read somewhere that pandavas > lost their kingdom when jupiter was transiting 4th(Chathurthe Pandava > Bhrashta).Transit jupiter when in 4th in this case will be 4th from > natal jupiter as well. How should one analyse this strong influence of saturn and > jupiter on the lagna,4th and 10th houses.6th lordship of jupiter and > maraka lordship of saturn are puzzling.Kindly help to analyse such > situations.> When gochara saturn was igniting natal moon ,which was also his > ascendant lord and the house being 12th,the individual was > displaced.Since this moon is in gandanta the individual might had > taken this decision out of confusion. This 7th lord saturn was > aspecting the 9th house igniting natal saturn and 2nd house as > well. Thus many travel and family displacement indications were > there. Also this was in 4/10 rel with natal saturn. Now he should be > under the influence of the last stage of sade sathi and hence health > and money matters should be carefully dealt with the coming > transit.Kindly correct me.> > General doubts.> 9th lording forming Hamsa in ascendant should had given great gains > in this case? Why was that not there (if there was not any)?> > Was that because of dispositor moon in 12th and in gandanta? Also moon > is in 12th to jupiter the yogakaraka -Thus whatever jupiter was > giving, gandanta moon was unable to protect fully.Moons dispositor > mercury is also debilitated.Jupiter himself is in the beginning of > Rashi. Thus should we assume that the strength of yoga has been > considerably reduced?> > Now mercury though debilitated has attained NBRYand exalted in > navamsha. Thus saturn who is with this NBRY karaka mercury in 9th > (whose dispositor is also exalted) should be a good dasha?,coupled > with maraka nature of saturn!
