Saturn in 10H will give 11th house aragala to 12H and hence papaaragala. There is need to recheck! Guest guest
Om Krishna Guru, Dear Rameshji, Good one, Thanks for pointing it out. Now, how is it same for Saturn and Ketu ? Shouldn't we reverse the argala of Ketu ? So, Ketu's 3rd argala would be on 8th house, instead of, on the 12th? I am sure I am again missing something here, but don't know what! Thanks for your help. Guest guest
Satyam Bruyat Priyam Bruyat Dear Sarath, You must have seen my second mail on this by now. 12th house normally receives primary aragala from 1st, 3rd and 10th houses. (2,4,11th aragala). secondary aragala from 4th and 7th (5,8 aragala). Exceptional house will be 2nd.(3rd aragala). I will read through COVA pages once again and write, if I have something to add. Guest guest
Dear Sharath Argala has to be analysed at a deeper level. WHen darkness bolts the guru sthana, it can never be a shubha argala. The karakas are very important. The karaka for 9th house is guru, and Saturn debilitates Guru, (Guru gets debilitated in Capricorn). The karaka for 12th house is Saturn. When you meditate and sleep, you need a dimly lit room with less noise, dont you. The argala of saturn on such a 12th house, by being placed in 11th from it can give much insight into dreams and occult practices. You can still call it paapargala if you want to, but i prefer to call it shubhargala, as there is hardowrk to get moksha best wishes partha vedic astrology, "Sarath" <gsb1008@H...> wrote: > Om Krishna Guru > > Dear Friends, > > I am little confused while reading COVA, and so seeking help. > > On the chapter for 10th house (page# 425/426), Sanjayji writes that: > - Saturn in 10th has paapaargala on 9th and subhaargala on 12th. > - Simillarly for Ketu too. > > From IAVA (page# 89): > - Argala by benefic is called subhaargla and by malefic is called paapaargala. > > Now the confusion here is obvious, I expect both the argala's to be paapaargala. Guest guest
Om Krishna Guru Dear Partha ji, That was nicely explained. Thanks so much. Now, Is there any difference between argala from 2nd, 4th and 11th houses ? In my thinking it should as 2nd is dhana, 4th is suka and 11th is laabha. For example, Would Saturn give simillar results if placed in 1st or 3rd houses ? How much importance should we give for the positional strength ? ie, (ignoring other factors for now) - Saturn in 1st is not well placed, as 1st house is its MKS, karaka for 1st house is Sun and Saturn gets delib in natural 1st house. - Saturn in 3rd is also not well placed, as karaka for 3rd is Mars who always overpowers Saturn. - Saturn is reasonably placed in 10th house, as it owns 10th house of natural zodiac, and one of the karaka for the 10th house. Thanks a lot for your time, Sarath. - "V.Partha sarathy" <partvinu5 <vedic astrology> Tuesday, June 08, 2004 2:22 AM [vedic astrology] Re: Question on Argala > Dear Sharath > > Argala has to be analysed at a deeper level. > > WHen darkness bolts the guru sthana, it can never be a shubha argala. > The karakas are very important. Guest guest
Dear Sarath I hope i got your name right. Now answers to your questions There is definitely a difference between 2nd, 4th and 11th argalas. The argala of planet in fourth from navamsa, usually gives marriage during its dasa. this is my research, you can test it in some charts. Either 2nd or 4th argala. Now why does it behave like that , i will leave it to you. We were discussing argala and not positions of planet Sani. But coming to your point, Saturn in lagna gives health problems till 30 years of age. Though parasara says 10 years, i guess with environmental pollution, and usage of allopathy has made it nearly 30 years. Your point about saturn in third needs a relook. Saturn in 3rd infact is a very good placement. He gives persistence to the native(parakrama argala of malefics). He is in the 10th from 6th house, and thus such a saturn would destroy the enemies. Saturn in 10th is both good and bad. Hard work, but there can be sudden fall also, as Saturn is giving dhana argala to bhagya and morality sthana. Now such a person can get into wrong means to gain his objectives. Guest guest
Satyam Bruyat Priyam Bruyat Partha, Thank you for explaining. I think the key words in Cova pages referred are "Saturn will have shubhaaragala on the 12th house of which it is a significator". Saturn's aragala for spiritual matters will be shubh, may not be so for significations like sexual pleasures which are the significations of Venus! is that right? Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Namaste Partha, I think Saturn in lagna is one of the "balarishta" combinations, so isn't 10 years more likely to mark the period of ill-health? 30 years can hardly be classified as "bala" I think. Anyway, I also have Saturn in lagna and i can vouch that till 6-8 years of age, i did have some unexpected health related problems, but after that i have been abominably healthy, touchwood :--)) Regards, Lakshmi vedic astrology, "V.Partha sarathy" <partvinu5> wrote: > Dear Sarath > > I hope i got your name right. > > Now answers to your questions > > There is definitely a difference between 2nd, 4th and 11th argalas. > > The argala of planet in fourth from navamsa, usually gives marriage > during its dasa. this is my research, you can test it in some charts. > Either 2nd or 4th argala.
