Dear Bharat,

You have asked a good thought-provoking question. Allow me to share

some of my understanding…

Without a snapshot of the heavens at the time of birth, one cannot map

it into a Rashi as a visual representation.

>From the Rashi, we get the other subdivisional charts. These charts

are aids to the Rashi.

Subjectively -- I'm sure that there was a time the Rishis could look

upon the Rashi alone, and derive not only the important Navamsa, but

the remainder of the sub charts. It is only in a more recent era, with

the advent of technology that we are perhaps more at ease (or a loss?)

in the calculations.

In theory, one could indeed calculate degrees of the nth chart.

However, I'm not sure the Rishis did this. Instead, I remember that

certain descriptions / deities have been mentioned as an aid to what

is transpiring in the charts.

Look at the degrees and Rashi placements to understand what is

transpiring in the chart(s). The degrees / minutes / seconds do not

change.

Hope some of this helps.

Best wishes and warm regards,

Nitin.

Respected Gurujans:

I have question about 2 planets in a same sign in any of the D charts.

Like in Lagna we say if X planet is Y degrees from sun it will be

combust or we say if jup and rahu are in same sign and only 2 degrees

away than it effects jupiter potential to perform.

So likewise what are the degrees we look at when considering in D-n

chart. If say in ju and rahu are in 4th house in D-10 chart of an

individual do we still look at the same degrees of planets as in rasi

chart ?? or there is any other way to look at this.

Plz explain this to us as i feel its a very important aspect when

looking at d-charts. An example would be great as to explain how

things are getting influenced.

Thanks and best wishes,

Hare Krishna

Bharat
