Namaste Hari,

It is indeed a great loss to the world of music. As is evident from the tapaswi

yoga in her 10H, the sattwik sign of Cancer, involving Lagna lord Venus and 5th

Lord Saturn, her music was her prayer and her tapasya and hence it always

touched the audience in a strange manner and her listeners always returned in

an elevated mood.

I always considered her to be the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Her

incomparable grace and beauty, which inspired in the onlookers great respect,

is beyond anything that can ever be achieved by our so called beauty queens.

Her purity and atma soundarya shone through in a manner so uncontrived,

effortless and guileless.

She lives on in the hearts of people.

Dear Narasimha,

I shall try to see the same sad event from Vimshottary Dasha

perspective. Its accuracy is amazing.

She was running Dasha of 12th Lord Mercury Antardasha of Rahu who

occupies Capricorn, thus capable of giving results of Yoga Karaka

Saturn and gets aspect of both Saturn and Venus (8th Lord, besides

being Lagnesh. Pratyantar is of Venus the 8th Lord again. Saturn acts

as Killer when associating with other Killer. Venus gives results of

Saturn and vice-a-versa in each other's Maha/ Antar dasha or

Antar/Pratyantar.

In transit Saturn turned retrograde recently and conjoins Natal Saturn

aspecting 7th house. Jupiter Lord of 3rd and 6th aspects Natal 6th and

8th in transit. Venus joins Lagna and squares Natal Venus and Saturn.

So does Ketu. Moon and Sun are in Maraka 2nd house aspecting the 8th.

It is interesting that the Sookshma dasha of Mercury and Prana of Rahu

and Deha Dasha of Marakesh Mars was operating at the time of death.

Namaste Pradeep ji,

Please forgive me for intruding. I feel M.S.'s lack of progeny is attributable

to the following reasons:

1) The deep involvement of 5th lord Saturn in Tapaswi yoga, so her entire

creative energy was invested in the great outpouring of melody, which left no

room for other attachments and diversions. The fact that Saturn is also the 4th

lord and is in a quadrant from Moon (also aspecting the moon) indicates the

depth of her penance.

2) The 5th lord caught in the nodal axis

3) The sthira as well as chara putrakaraka Jupiter afflicted by Mars, Saturn,

Rahu and Ketu all in quadrants from Jupiter.

4) The 9th lord (5th from 5th) is exalted in the 12th house in conjunction with

Sun (5th lord from moon) in marana karana avastha.

5) The fact that both 5th and 9th houses are ruled by strong napunsaka planets

6) In navamsa too Jupiter, the exalted 5th lord is caught in the nodal axis and

aspected powerfully by exalted Mars.

7) In Saptamsa Jupiter is the 5th lord again aspected by Mars, the D-7 lagna and

6th lord (moola trikona).

8) Interestingly in D-60 Mars (as the 6 & 11th lord) occupies Libra, the 5th

house. He occupies the same house (lagna)in D-1, resulting in kuja dosha, which

was considerably offset by Moon's placement in Aries. In D-1, D-9, D-7 as well

as D-60 the nodal axis afflicts Cancer (the natural womb).

I think all in all strong sarpa dosha exists in the horoscope, which M.S., I am

sure, had remedied long back by her good deeds. But, seeing that Rahu is her

AK, perhaps this particular affliction made her a selfless person and led her

more and more towards God.

Look at Lord of the 5th Saturn afflicted by Ketu, and Jupiter the Putra

Karaka in exaltation in the 5th house in Navamsha chart. Then look at

Saptamsha which has Jupiter again in the 5th house and 5th Lord Mercury

in 8th(for Saptamsha). Remember what I say about Jupiter harming the

Bhava he occupies, especially if strong?

Note that Ketu acting like Saturn and Venus besides owning 2nd house by

co Lordship, also gives results of Mars the Marakesh.

Namaste Chandrasekharji,

Which TOB are you using for M.S.? Because for 8:26:47am that I am using, Jupiter

though he is certainly the 5th lord, occupies 9H in exaltation in navamsa and 8H

in saptamsa. He does not occupy 5H in any chart.

Though I could be wrong, I feel that this time could be more correct because in

this case Moon and Venus occupy navamsa lagna and the 2nd (voice) and 5th

(bhakthi) lord Jupiter's (also Ishta devata) exaltation in 9th is consistent

with Mercury's exaltation in rasi chart. Even in dasamsa you would find Jupiter

exalted in 9th along with Venus and in d-20 the 8th house has saraswathi yoga of

Venus and Mercury. And the 8L is in 2nd house along with A10! In D-60 too, the

nodal axis is along the 2-8 houses and AK Rahu occupies 2nd house (Cancer!)

along with gulika and mandi. No doubt M.S. had to drink her own share of

poison, but she sucked out poison from many hearts with her gaana-amrita.

When 9.30 am is used, the second lord and 9th lord is indeed exalted, but in the

11H along with Sun and Rahu. And, I am more inclined to think that sattwik

Jupiter, conjunct ketu, as 2nd lord defines her divine voice better than the

fiery Mars.

But whichever time is used, Jupiter is definitely the chara as well as the

sthira putrakaraka and is heavily afflicted by Mars in all the above charts, as

well as in D-6 and D-30. With 9.30am as TOB, in D-9 the 5th lord Moon is

debilitated and unable to protect the house. Any particular reason, Sir, for

ignoring these afflictions? .

Look at Lord of the 5th Saturn afflicted by Ketu, and Jupiter the Putra Karaka

in exaltation in the 5th house in Navamsha chart. Then look at Saptamsha which

has Jupiter again in the 5th house and 5th Lord Mercury in 8th(for Saptamsha).

Remember what I say about Jupiter harming the Bhava he occupies, especially if
