Guest guest
||| Hare Rama Krishna ||| Dear Raymond, Allow me to share some of my understanding... I suppose one would have to distinguish between RASHI and GRAHA Drishti (aspect). Whilst I have not looked at your chart(s), here is something I found regarding aspects (English translation).... ============ CLASSICAL REFERENCES TO THE ASPECTS OF RAHU AND KETU BPHS, Chapter 9, verses 7-11: Grahas (any Graha) in the 12th house will be the source of a short life, specifically the luminaries (Sun and Moon), Venus, and Rahu. But the aspect of these four planets (on the 12th house) will counteract such evils." BPHS, Chapter 30, verse 38: 38. If Rahu is in the 7th or the 12th from Ascendant Pada or gives an aspect to one of the said houses, the native will be endowed with spiritual knowledge and be very fortunate. BPHS 33, 36: Ketu's aspect on the 5th from Karakamsha will cause dysentery and other diseases caused by (impure) water. BPHS: 33, 50: If Saturn and Rahu give an aspect to, or occupy, the 9th from Karakamsha, one will betray his elders and be averse to ancient learning. JATAKA PARIJATA: 6, 87: 87. When the Moon in conjunction with a malefic planet occupies the sign occupied by the lord of the 8th bhava and when the last mentioned planet is aspected by Rahu, the person born will suffer from a disease affecting the privities. JATAKA PARIJATA: 6, 97 When Saturn in conjunction with Mars occupies the 6th bhava, and is aspected by the Sun and Rahu, and when the lord of the Ascendant is without strength, the result will be a lingering illness. JATAKA PARIJATA: 8, 50 If the Moon occupies the sign Scorpio and be aspected by Rahu, the person born will be a poor man. JATAKA PARIJATA: 8, 51: If the Moon occupies the sign Scorpio and be aspected by Ketu, the person born will be a minister of a king. JATAKA PARIJATA: 8, 52 When the Moon in Capricorn is aspected by Rahu, the person born will be a beggar. JATAKA PARIJATA: 8, 52: When the Moon in Capricorn is aspected by Ketu, the persons born will be a lord. JAIMINI SUTRAM: 1, 7: 7. When the Sun, Rahu and Venus occupy or aspect the twelfth from Arudha lagna the expenditure or losses arise because of the governmental action. JATAKA PARIJATA: 3, 42: When Mars occupies the Ascendant being aspected by Rahu, the person born will have a cord coiled round his body. JATAKA PARIJATA: 4, 4: 4. Even though Jupiter may occupy the Ascendant, if the Moon be in the 8th, the 12th or the 6th bhava and be aspected by the malefic planet Rahu, the child meets with death. JATAKA PARIJATA: 4, 59: 59. When Saturn occupies a Navamsa owned by Jupiter and is aspected by Rahu, and the lord of the Ascendant is not aspected by benefic planets, the newborn child dies at once. JATAKA PARIJATA: 4, 59 When Saturn occupies a Navamsa owned by Jupiter and is aspected by Rahu, and the lord of the Ascendant is not aspected by benefic planets and the lord of the rising sign is in his exaltation, the life of the child is 19 years. ============ Best wishes, Nitin. || Namah Shivaaya || vedic astrology, "astynaz" <astynaz> wrote: > > > Hi, > > I read somebody comment that nodes don't make aspects.
