Dear Narasimha, Gupta, Viswanatham & others,

 

Namaste. i just wanted to share what i know about kalachakra.

 

You may be aware of the story of how a mango was won by Ganesha as a reward for

having come around the world in quicker time than Subramanya. Ganesha came

around his parents Uma and Siva and took the reward stating that parents are

his world. This gives us the clue of the existance of two zodiacs. For

conveninent sake let us name the two as the zodiac of Ganesha and the other one

as the zodiac of Subramanya. The zodiac of Ganesha begins from the the nakshatra

jyestha(bigger) and the zodiac of Subramanya begins from the nakshatra aswini.

The Ganesha zodiac is anti clockwise(is not Mother in the left side of the

lord) and that of Subramanya is clockwise.

 

The clockwise zodiac has 15 nakshatras and the anti clockwise zodiac has 12

nakshatras. What does the 3 additional nakshatras mean? This is the normal path

which speaks of brhamacharya, grihastashrama, vanaprastha and then sanyasa. The

Ganesha zodiac hints at direct sanyasa.

 

Sage Parasara instructs us to draw both the zodiacs for better understanding. He

calls the Subramanya zodiac as Savya and the Ganesha zodiac as apasavya.

 

Subramanya zodiac/savya chakra:- Aswini, bharani, krittika,

punarvasu.pushya,aslesha, hastam,chitra,swati,moolam

pooradam,uthiradom,poorattadhi,uttaratadhi and revathi.

 

Ganesha zodiac/Apasavya chakra;-

Rohini,mrigasira,aridra,makam,pooram,uttiram,visakam,anusham, ,jyeshtha,

sravana,dhanishta and sathayam.

 

As a first step, one should list all the planets and the ascendant as per the

nakshatra quarter(this was the olden day practice). Then plot the planets as

per the two zodiacs. The Ganesha/apasavya zodiac begins from vrishikha. For

example let us take the nakshatra Rohini 3rd pada. The 1st pada of Rohini falls

in Vrischika, the 2nd falls in tula and the 3rd falls in kanya and the 4th falls

in simha. So as per this understanding rohini 3rd pada falls in kanya.

 

This gives the kalachakra chart. We have taken all the planets(not only the moon).

 

For example let us take the chart of lunar year kartika which commenced on 12th

November 2004 at 19hours and 57 minutes in New Delhi. i am enclosing the

chart(the usual and not kalachakra) in jhd. for ready reference. The

nakshatrawise position of lagna and planets are as follows:-

Lagna;Mrigasira 4th pada Sun & Moon:- Visaka 2nd pada Mars:-Swati 1st pada

Buda:- Jyestha 1st pada Guru;- hastam 2nd pada Venus:-Chitra 1st pada Sani:-

Pushyami 1st pada Rahu:- Aswini 3rd pada Ketu:-Swati 1st pada Mandi:- Pooram

3rd pada Gulika:- Uttaram 2nd pada

 

The kalachakra chart in text form as per the above understanding is as follows:-

Lagna;-Mesha Sun&Moon:-Tula Mars&Ketu:-Dhanu Buda:-Meena Guru&Mandi:-Vrishaba

Sukra&Sani:-Simha Gulika:-Kumbha.

 

As per this chart A9 falls in Tula. Sani the badhaka afflicts Sun(5th

lord),Moon(4th lord) and Guru(9th lord) and A9. Guru is polluted by Mandi. The

9th house is polluted by Mars & Ketu.

 

As per kalachakra dasa scheme the dasa is that of Tula the deha rasi where we

find A9 posited. What can we expect when deha rasi dasa is on?

 

The lord of deha rasi and sign dispositor of A9 venus is afflicted by badhaka

and functional malefic Sani. This can be painful period for A9(Guru).

 

What can a weak and afflicted Sun who is in deha rasi confer? He can cause

confrontations with higher authorities/fear of own enemies/demotions.

 

What can an afflicted Moon who is in deha rasi confer? He can cause mental anguish and distress.

 

The lunar year unveils the stress/humilation and sufferings of religious heads/Gurus.

 

Purificatory acts to Sriyantra and prayers to Mata Sri Tripurasundari will help

redeem the situation.
