Karthik Purnima - Any significance to Ketu?

Dear all,

 

Karthik Purnima is bound to fall on 26th November. It is defined as

the purnima occuring in the month of Karthika when Moon is in its

uccha-rasi. It is stated that Mahavishnu took his 'Matsya Avatara'

on this day. Matsya Avatara is the underlying deity for the graha

Ketu. Given this, are there any special astrological significance to

Karthik purnima linking it to planet Ketu?

On Karteeka Pournima, Sun is in Scorpio which is Ketu's sign.

Perhaps that has a role...
