Analysing Jupiter in my chart

Pujaya Gurujis,

I have very recently joined this group and am interested in learning about

Astrology. Since I was 15 or so, I have been drawn to astrology, numerology,

and all other sciences that accordingly to me make us think on a deeper plane,

and I have read a couple of books on my own to create a pathway for this

learning. However, I have not had any formal training and I am so delighted to

learn of this , where everyone shares their learning.

I have a thought in my mind that keeps bothering me. Since I started learning

astrology, one of the first few things I noticed in my chart was a debilitated

Jupiter in the 4th house. Since Jupiter is a benefic that gives graciousness

and wisdom, I was very disappointed to see this in my chart. In some time,

another astrologer told me (I used to learn by taking my own chart to various

astrologers and asking them questions) "but it is retrogate and it reverses the

impact". And also, Jupiter is the lord of the 3rd and 6th house in my chart, and

so another astrologer said "you should not strengthen it and leave it as it is.

it is okay to have the 6th house lord weekened by debilitation".

However, I wondered "but what about the other blessings that jup gives?" and is

it because of the same that I have not been able to find a guru?

Please help me understand my guru and whether I will be able to find a guru and

be a good student of astrology. Is it mostly because of my yogakaraka Sani's

placement in the 9th that I have been drawn to the Indian scriptures and deeper

learning?

I have another questions - with regards to bhava chart. chandra-mangal in my

rasi chart are in the 6th house but they are in the 7th in the bhava chart. how

should i read them?

Thank you,

Dimple

That's not so good for your 4th house, but great for your 10th!

Because Jupiter's aspect there is received in its favorite sign

(Cancer).

This is not really clear (there are many opinions about retrograde

planets). I don't believe it anymore.

> it is okay to have the 6th house lord weekened by debilitation".

Perhaps. I'd rather not have any lord debilitated. Not even the 6th,

8th or 12th. How's your health? A strong 6th lord should help

conquer bacteria and viruses. A weak one make's one pretty

defenceless. I may be wrong here. What's the experience of other

astrologers?

> how should i read them?

Most astrologers stress that the rasi chart is much more important.
