Guest guest
Dear Jay, What I meant with foreign origin charts was one doesn't come to know with births place in the west, when to use DST & when not to, & timezone is so complicated some websites give East /west of GMT which is easy to feed in JHL whereas feeding +GMT -GMT +EST etc etc is confusing for a novice like me. When people give their birth details they do not mention if DST is applicable or not and that makes it difficult and most imp one can't expect them to tell us if DST is applicable. A thoughtful nice astrologer just wrote in some hours back with :- "Latitude 38degrees 37minutes 38seconds NorthTime Zone 6 (I corrected daylight time for you so your "daylight saving time is "0")I've found that most of the "free" software packages mess up charts even if you feed them the correct info." She is very thoughtful in giving the correct time zone after it seems deducting daylight savings, I am wondering why daylight should be deducted best SJ "J.Weiss" <jayhw (AT) telia (DOT) com> wrote: Sorry it was meant to be "DOMESTIC" (again those fingers...) /Jay Weiss - J.Weiss vedic astrology ; Sunil John Friday, November 12, 2004 4:00 PM Re: [vedic astrology] Arafat: Cairo or Jerusalem does it matter -> Sunil Dear Sunil, You wrote "I am bad at casting charts of foreign origin" ... What's the difference between a "DOESTIC origin chart" and a "FOREGIN origin chart" ? Aren't they suppose to be the same ? Regards /Jay Weiss ----- Check out the new Front Page. www.
