you had asked whether AK exalted , debilitated will make a difference , here i

quote 2 verses of Jaimini Sutras to clear the point, that they do, indeed make

an impact and a difference.

SU. 11.-Atmadhikaha kaladibhirna bhogassaptanamashtanamva.Of the seven planets

from the Sun to Saturn, orthe eight planets from the Sun to Rahu, whichevergets

the highest number of degrees becomes theAtmakaraka.

SU. 12.-Saeeshtay bandhamokshayoh.Atmakaraka gives bad and good result byvirtue

of malefic and benefic dispositions such asdebility, exaltation, etc.

EdreesLife is beautiful, and to feel its beauty we should have open eyes, and

the eyes which can see beauty in others must also be that powerful to see the

goodness and beauty in oneself...The world is a small home, with big dreams,

and in dreams we create a beautiful world of our own, and learn how to love;

and when we learn loving, we live in

joy...Tired of

The "or " refers to two different schools of thought. In the first one, Rahu is

excluded, for its materially non-existant nature, and in the second it is

included. In calculating Rahu, whether it is or not the karaka, we have to

subtract the degree of it from 30, and then we have to see the resultant if it

is the highest.

Say somebody's highest degree planet is Mars, say 24 degrees, but has a Rahu of

5 degree, so Rahu will actually have been in that sign since last 25 degrees,

and thus 30-05 = 25 is the planet with highest degrees.

Thanks for your interest and you can always enquire about things ...
