In this connection may I request the group members to provide me the birth detais of famous Indian Classical musicians. Some of the names which come to mind are: Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Pandit Jasraj, Mrs Amonkar, Parveen Sultana, Ustad Bismilla Khan, Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, T. N. Seshagopalan, Sanjay Subramanian, Sudha Ragunathan, Govind Rao, Lalgudi Jayaraman, Flute Mahalingam. The above is only an indicative list. Details of others of the same caliber are also most welcome.
