Method for rectification using vargas?

I have a question regarding birth time rectification. I know this

has been treated elsewhere, but I wanted to know if there was a

resource for a basic step-by- step starting point for doing this

based on life events, dasa periods and gochara, and vargas? Please

direct me to the relevant message or source. I appreciate your

>From a conversation i had with PVR-ji some time back, here is what i understood

in regards to rectification. The best approach is a top down approach, where

one starts off with the Rasi chart , then proceeds to D-3, ..D-9, D-10, ..D-30,

etc. Try to see if the rasi chart makes sense. Look at the lagna and the houses

that are prominent, see if the person fits in that category. BHPS, Brihat

Jathaka gives details about signs and dreshkanas, navamsas, etc.

 

Ofcourse, if the person doesn't have the time or the date, for example, prsna

might be another alternative. Some of the classics also has a section on nasta

jathaka (or lost horoscopes) in order to re-construct a chart, although i'm not

sure how successfully these are being used.
