|| Jai Guru Dev ||

Namaskar to all the Gurus,

I personally found the discussion on Jupiter in 11th house very interesting and

informative at the same time.

Having Jupiter in 11th in my chart am sharing few details and have a few queries.

As per the thread, found these things to be valid in my case.

a) Jupiter in 11th will not make one first born

b) Scorpio: Jupiter as the lord of 2nd and 5th is the best benefic. Hispresence

in 11th will give rise to Yoga. He will make the native ambitious.

c) If you have an 11th placed Jupiter, keep yourself away from Saints, as it

will bring poverty and hard times into your life. Not entirely sure on this

point!

Last time i enrolled myself in Art of Living course held over a week in

college. Had the first setback as far as studies are concerned

Not sure on these following observations though...

1) 11th Jupiter tends to give you interest in OTHER WOMEN or MEN and tends to

make you look beyond the fence of Marital boundry

2) Jupiter in 11th will generally make you first born.Keeping company of saints

for people with 11thhouse placement of Jupiter bringing poverty seems like a

Nadi observation

3) Being with father bringing you happiness (Inheritance from father) might be

due to the fact that 11th is 3rd from 9th. Hence father might be the only son

or last son and may have better share of ancestral property than other

siblings. So it is better not to leave the side of father.Saint part escapes

comprehension of self.

4) > I thought Jup in 11th house was good for financials, am I correct,

> experts kindly guide.

5) > > #If anyone has an 11th placed Jupiter, The blessings of such > people

are more auspicious than any saint, as the ability has been with > them since

their past birth. > > > > #If you have an 11th placed Jupiter, keep yourself

away from > Saints, as it will bring poverty and hard times into your life. > >

> > #If you have an 11th placed Jupiter, take the guidance of your > father and

be with your father. You will escape harm from all enemies, > even the Devil

6) Thus Guru weakens any bhava where he sits to such an extent that that bhava

indications suffer.Coming to question of Guru, yes you are absolutely right.Guru

in 11th makes a person a perfact opportunist and this Guru may make him not to

let any opportunity just GO ....even if that is something like jumping the

boundry of Morality.Self knows cases with 11th Guru people who look very SADHU

and pious. But at the first given opportunity, they do not mind cheating their

spouses.Due to reasons their birth data is not posted here. ( for the purpose

of the discussion, i have posted my details here)

Some more observations....With the permission of the learned astrologers here,

let me put down some more observations

which i have come across in various books.

7) Wife of natal will never be happy, even though venus is siutated in a good

house( In my case Ve is exalted in Psices)

8) Sister, father's sister, daughter etc cannot be happy

9) Even though Mercury is placed in a good house, he would not be getting the

results from business related to mercury.

10) Natal will be in debt too.

11)Natal will remain happy till he is residing with his father (expired in 1997

in my case) and in a joint family( satying away from home in hostel)

The moment he will leave his father's shelter, he will be sourrounded by problems.

( points 7 to 11 from "Lal Kitab")

12) (BV Raman Vol .II ) Lord of 11th house in 4th house => One acquires profits

through landed estates, rentals and products of the earth.

He wil be renowned for his learning and scholarship of various subjects. He will

have a devoted and charming wife.

13)(Bv Raman Vol.II) Planet in 11 house Juipter => Native wil be long-lived.

Limited number of issues, will be bold and wealthy with a piercing intellect

and will become renowned. He will be fond of music, will accumulate riches and

will have many firends.

Currently preparing for placements scheduled for February 2005.

1. Please enlighten on the career prospects and line of work for utmost success.

Will the native do work related to field of study or otherwise.

Rahu in 9th. Budh aspecting 10th. Guru and Shani in 11th.

2. According to the earlier discussion on the thread ( Guru destroys bhava in which it is placed),

since Guru (Vakra) is placed in 11th - the house of gains, what will be its effects?

Will I be in service or run my own business. If business, the indications of profits/loss.

3.Sun lord of 10th , Me aspect on 10 house, Sa-Ju combination in 11th and

Su-Ve-Ma in 5th house.

This being the case, the astrologer I consulted, for wearing gemstones (I am

wearing yellow sapphire

on RH Index finger and Gomedh on LH Middle finger) was at a loss to clearly point out the most

probable line of work - due to the congregation of the planets. I request the learned to elucidate

on these aspects of the chart.

Thanks a lot,

hardtimes for 11th placed jupiter fellows?Namasthe!I don't feel Jupiter in 11th

will make one first born. With regard tosaints, I don't think it is true. One

aspect of Jupiter is to make a person greedy and blindfolded(temporarily). In a

chart where Jupiter is in 11th or 5th, the native willbecome jealous and loses

the ability to judge between right and wrong. Thishowever is applicable, if

Jupiter is malefic. The native can be compared to Dhratharashtra (in

Mahabharatha).Dhratharashtra will become so fond of his son that he forgets

what is rightand what is wrong. The first sloka of Bhagawad Gita gives a clear

picture. The sloka is as follows: Dhratarashtra Uvacha"Dharmakshetre Kuruksetre

samavetah yuyutsavahaMamakah pandavaschiva kimakurvatha sanjaya"This can be

understood asDhratarashtra says:In the land of Dharma (he contradicts when he

himself is practicingAdharma), which belongs to the Kurus, assembled and eager

(note theterminology used - eager) to battle, Mine and Pandu sons (Here,

hedifferentiates between his and his brother's sons. Pandu is his brother

andPandu's sons are naturally like his sons. He is so much fond of his son, that

he starts differentiating, and which eventually led to the Great War),are doing,

SanjayaLet us consider Jupiter's position in 11th for all ascendants.Aries:

Jupiter as lord of 9th and 12th is Benefic. If placed in 11th, hewill be in the

house of Saturn. He will be good and be a philanthropic.Taurus: Jupiter as lord

of 8th and 11th is Malefic. As lord of the 11th, inthe 11th, he will become

very greedy, but financially will be well off.Gemini: Jupiter as lord of 7th

and 10th will be a kendradhipathi. Hispresence in 11th will land him in a

friend's house. The native will not bewell off, but will undertake good

deeds.Cancer: Jupiter as lord of 6th and 9th becomes neutral. In 11th, he will

bein the house of Venus, his enemy and not do much good. The native could

havemore enemies and debt. If influenced by Mars, can produce Yoga.Leo: Jupiter

as lord of 5th and 8th becomes malefic. Jupiter in the 11thwill land him in

Mercury's house. The native will have uneven income andwill be fond of

pleasures.Virgo: Jupiter as the lord of 4th and 7th will become kendradhipathi.

In11th, he will be in house of the Moon. The person will be God-fearing andwill

undertake charitable deeds. Moon in 2nd house can give rise to Yoga.Libra:

Jupiter as the lord of 3rd and 6th will become malefic. In 11th, hewill

increase debts and enemies. He will be first born and will be

easilyoffended.Scorpio: Jupiter as the lord of 2nd and 5th is the best benefic.

Hispresence in 11th will give rise to Yoga. He will make the native

ambitious.Sagittarius: Jupiter as Lagnadhipathi and 4th lord, in 11th will make

theperson highly ambitious, open-minded and unassuming.Capricorn: Jupiter as the

3rd and 12th lord makes him a malefic. In 11th,the native will be Casanova. He

is usually unhappy. Presence of Mars in 11thwill not result in Yoga.Aquarius:

Jupiter as the lord of 2nd and 11th is malefic. In 11th, he willgive rise to

Yoga and make the native rich and influential. The native willalso involve in

inappropriate acts.Pisces: Jupiter as Lagnadhipathi and 10th lord in 11th will

make the nativegreedy and jealous.Hope this helps.Om Tat Sat,Raman

<nameisego >Re: visiting saints bring hardtimes for 11th

ASTROLOGY IS WITHOUT EXCEPTIONS.Self has posted a lot on Jupiter which you

might have had a chance to read.Principle of Bhava Nasha Karo Jeeva....has been

found by self as holding true in majority of cases. Thus Guru destroys(To a

larger or smaller extent) the bhava where he sits.Self is of opinion that Guru

acts (as white ant destoying the inner wood) and any other bad period/dasa etc

cracks and destroys the Bhava indication. Thus Guru weakens any bhava where he

sits to such an extent that that bhava indications suffer.Coming to question of
