Dear List members and Learned souls,

What are the factors that cause neechabangam ? The one that is well

known is : Lord of the debilitated planet in a kendra wrt Moon/Asc

How about these conditions ? Do they cause Neechabangam ?

1. Lord of Debilitated planet, aspects his own house. The Lord of the

debilitated planet maybe a functional malefic or benefic for that

particular - does not matter

2. The debilitated planet's Lord and the lord of the rasi where the

same planet is exalted are at kendras with each other.

3. A debilitated planet aspecting his own house causes a neechabanga

raja yogam for the house in question

4. The debilitated planet's lord is exalted or is in vargottama.

5. Consider this interesting situation: Let us say Saturn is in

Aries, Mars is in Capricorn and Jupiter is also in Capricorn.

Saturn's lord is Mars and he is exalted. Mars aspects the debilitated

Saturn sitting in Aries by 4th house aspect. Further Saturn aspects

his own house in Capricorn via 10th aspect from Aries. Jupiter is

debilitated in Capricorn. here are the questions:

Does Saturn, a debilitated planet aspecting Jupiter also debilitaed

cause cancellation of debility for Jupiter ?

Does Mars cause cancellation of debility for Saturn ?

Does Saturn who is Mars's lord being debilitated cause the exaltation

of Mars to reverse ?

I would welcome all comments. Thankyou in advance.

Sincerely,

A beginner of astrology.
