Guest guest
||| Hare Rama Krishna ||| Dear Alexandro, Here are some basics, I am familiar with: 1) Examine the position of the Moon. 2) Look at which Nakshatra the Moon is in. 3) Look at which pada (quarter) it is in, within the Nakshatra. Accordingly, to name the being, take the first syllable from the given list below. For example, if the Moon were in Anuradha, the possible letters would be: Na Ni Nu Ne If the Moon were in the 2nd quarter, recommend the name begin with the sound "Ni." Hope this helps. Best wishes and warm regards, Nitin. || Namah Shivaaya || Dear Members, I understand that in India, persons are named according to the position of the moon in their chart. Is this correct? How does this work exactly? Guest guest
Thank you members for your reply. Especially Nitin for you included the correspondences. I have a doubt. For Krittika (i have moon in Krittika) you say it is 1-A (as in accent) 2-E 3-Oo (as in U) and 4-Aa (as in Airport). However Airport sounds like E (Eh, as in Everest) Is this correct? If so then what does the second pada sound like? vedic astrology, "Nitin" <astronitin> wrote: > ||| Hare Rama Krishna ||| > > > Dear Alexandro, > > Here are some basics, I am familiar with: > > 1) Examine the position of the Moon. > 2) Look at which Nakshatra the Moon is in. > 3) Look at which pada (quarter) it is in, within the Nakshatra. > > Accordingly, to name the being, take the first syllable from the given > list below. > > For example, if the Moon were in Anuradha, the possible letters would be: > Na Ni Nu > Ne > > If the Moon were in the 2nd quarter, recommend the name begin with the > sound "Ni." > > Hope this helps. > > Best wishes and warm regards, > Nitin. > > || Namah Shivaaya || Dear Members, > > I understand that in India, persons are named according to the > position of the moon in their chart.
