Hello Sumanth:

Rahu's placement WILL NOT neutralize the negatives in the horoscope.

Rahu's good placement in 3,6, or 11 from Lagna will be felt during

Rahu's vimshottari dasa if you experience one.

Also, GENERAL characteristics of the placment of Rahu will be felt by

the individual througout his life, i.e. Rahu is 3rd will make him

courageous, Rahu in 6th will destroy his enemies and Rahu in 11th

will create good income.

However, the individual will continue to feel OTHER good as well as

bad effects of the placments of other planets.

Rahu is always negative, just because he is placed in a good house

DOESN'T make his aspect positive, i.e. the aspect of Rahu on other

houses and planets will always give bad results.

Now, when you talk about any one planet "neutralizing the bad

effects," let me tell you about a couple of combinations I've

personally seen. -- Not neturalizing, but becoming a strong protector.

Jupiter placed in exhaltation or own sign in LAGNA or the 9th house

becomes a strong sheild (especially in LAGNA)--it won't "neutralize"

the other bad combinations in a horoscope, but the individual will

always survive/land on his feet irrespective of the bad situations he

faces in life.

Also, Rahu in Aries in LAGNA becomes a strong sheild--an individual

with such a Rahu always lands on his feet irrespective of how high he

falls from.

Now, don't ask me why such a Jupiter or a Rahu becomes a strong

sheild as I don't know. Maybe one of our esteemed Gurus may know this.

Hope this helps.
