Guest guest
Hello Sarajit: What you've said here doesn't make sense--you're basically saying Guru is BAD in all houses including the 5th!!!!! How can Guru be bad in 5th, 5th is one of Guru's favorite house after the 9th house. Guru is the most benevolent planet, how can he do bad to the individual unless he is located in 3rd, 6th or 8th. Even the 12th house Guru isn't too bad, it makes a person very spiritual. Something is wrong with this dictum. Guru is the great giver, why would he take away from the house he is located in? I just went through both 12th and 1st house (Janma Jupiter) for last two years and nothing bad happend--didn't have to go to the forest in 12, nor was I imprisoned during Janma Guru. I think the transits have to be predicted based on the quailty of Jupiter in the rashi chart. -- Strong Jupiter would give good results irrespective of the house he is transiting. What is being said here by the Heavy-Weights contradicts the nature of Jupiter. If you read Chamatkar Chintamani further you will find Jupiter giving harm to at least one indication of each of the houses/bhavas he occupies. Guest guest
|| Jaya Jagannath ||Dear Mukund, First of all there is difference of opinion on this topic and hence I need to understand the point of view of the other schools of thoughts too. Now as of now, I am not convinced that Guru shall not protect the significance of the house it is placed in or it will trouble those significance. I always belived that Jupiter shall always protect the significance of the house it is placed in as Guru is the greatest benefic in the horoscope. However, that does not mean that I turn a blind eye to other opinions. Jyotish is a learning experience and it requires a open mind to be keep learning. I am willing to listen to all the opinions and references of other school of thought before re-evaluating my own opinion. That is why I thanked Chandrashekhar for providing the references from the Purana. I doesnot say that I am endorsing their viewpoint, I am just trying to understand something which I might not know. Btw Guru does good even when placed in 3/6/8.. it enhances fortune and does good to brothers in third, make the native have no enemies when placed in 6th and gives long life when placed in 8th, in 12th the person becomes charitable and spend on virtuous deeds.
