2nd house Jup in various roles..Karko Bahavo Nasha

Hello to All

 

This dictum needs to be looked in relative sense. By and large, any

karaka can not harm the house he signifies (e.g. mars is karaka for

brothers, so can not harm 3rd house). Now, if it is placed in 3rd

house, will it not follow its natural functions. It will and will

manifest desired results.

In my humble view, it will not harm 3rd house. But the catch is

that- now if 3rd house is occupied by mars, and if there is any

affliction (in transit or natal), then both 3rd house and mars get

caught in affliction and fail to render their results. That is why

positioning of mars in 3rd is not preferred.

 

The same principle is extended to house lord in its own house. It is

less preferred to the positioning, where it aspects its own house.

In such case, possibility of affliction to one of them (house or its

lord) does not ruin the results.

 

Now another view, where I always struggled of planet aspecting its

own sign. Technically, it should boost and protect its house. So

there can not be contradiction. But there is always confusion, when

such planet is placed in 7th house (pl note that 7th house

placement, always has 100% full aspect on house with 7th drishti).

BUT 7th house is always enemy sign for each sign and By theory, such

planet is weak. so it should fail to protect its own house. so which

rule prevails. In my humble opinion and experience, the rule 1 will

prevail. In my chart (march 8, 1967, Jodhpur-India 73E04 26N17,

17.40 IST) three planets are in 7th from their respective signs(sun

the lagna lord in 7th, moon the 12th lord in 6th and mars the 9th

lord in 3rd house) does not seem to have spoiled the reults. Their

respective natural results for house are not badly affected). Even

sun in 7th being in its enemy sign has not spoiled married life;

mars the karka of brother has not affected relations with brother

(has not denied me younger brother) etc.

Since, I have very limited experience, the learned members can

enlighten on the above.
