#4 Vimshottari Dasa using Jup instead of Moon/lagna

Dear Sunil,

 

1. The Dasa is getting into better understanding the Chara

AtmaKaraka(s) per a chart. As the soul never perishes, the effort to

time events using this Dasa gives us insight into the teachings /

lessons the soul is experiencing.

 

There has been discussion of the above in the archives, and Visti

Larsen, designated Guru of the SJC gave a presentation of the same for

the SJC W 2003 conference.

 

The reason I prompted you exploring this, as I had a similar question

a few years ago – what if we used the Sun to calculate Vimshottari……?

Technically incorrect, I was encouraged to explore this Dasa, instead.

 

2. I did not understand what you were writing? Parasara has written a

lot about variations in calculating Vimshottari, and they are commonly

in use. If you do not have BPHS, again, Pt. Rath and P.V.R. Narasimha

Rao gave a presentation on Naarayan Dasa and Vimnshottari about 2

years ago where the use of Janma / Utpana / Kshema etc, variations

were described. Look for more in the archives of this list.

Thanks for prompt reply.

1. Can you elaborate on Karak Kendradi Graha Dasa, if you have any

write up it can you kindly send it to my private id. I know nothing

about this dasa. I shall be most obliged.

2. I presume since JHL has so many options in calculating V.Dasa the

sages might have written it somewhere in the classics. If the sages

have written then their must be some way of using it, maybe we don't.

I am presuming that u feel the other options don't work since you have

experimented with the other options. I haven't though.
