Guest guest
Dear Shri. Kannan, Shri.C.G.Rajan in his book ‘Jathga Raja Bhava Iruvachi’ says that Mars would not cause Mangal dosha for Cancer Lagn. For Ca.Lagn its sapthama isthana Makara becomes its Kalathra Lagn .For Makara its 3rd & 12th lord Guru is considered as benefic, by being in the uppajaya isthana Meena, it would increase the longevity of the Kalathra. (Ref.ch.4.sloka9 of Uthrakaalaamirtham). And as such Mangle’s aspect on Sima would be nullified. Guest guest
Dear Kannan, In my opinion, the dosha does not get canceled. I think Yogakaraka is a term that is much misunderstood. It refers to a planet capable of giving rise to Yoga in an auspicious sense in the course of its own Dasha. It also indicates a planet which is capable of giving rise to yoga related to a house that he is placed in during Transit, related to that Bhava, depending on the nature of the planet. Jupiter in 9th has nothing to do with cancellation of Kuja dosha, in the case suggested by you. I have some points. 9th house is considered to be the most auspicious house in a horoscope. Jupiter in 9th as 9th Lord gives every possible luck to the person. For a married girl what is luck without husband? Jupiter in 9th in strength normally gives long married life to the native. Is it correct? Mars being a functional benefic and friend of Lagna Lord causing damage to the native is I think not logical. I agree that his house ownership suffers i.e., 5th & 10th house results suffers because of his bad placement in 8th. But still I think he cannot inflict a death blow to the native. What do you say if this mars in 8th is placed in Aries(mesha) in the Navamsha Chart. Is there any difference.
