5th lord exalted in 10th forming Malavya Yoga and Amala Yoga.Native

has to get this result at some time in life, as Sun is Vargottama and

Moon is in Lagna.

Moon and Venus in Kendra.Ascendant Lord in 9th.9th lord in

Second.Exalted 11th lord aspecting 2nd.All shows powerful Dhana Yogas

and Rajayogas.

 

Now to see the impact of Saturn Dasha/Antar Dasha.

1)Saturn placed in 2nd house (ruling 8th and 9th)

2)7th lord in the amsha of Saturn,Saturn in the amsha of 7th lord.

3)Transit Saturn conjuncting natal Moon ,whose dipositor and lagna

lord is in 9th.

4)Transit Jupiter aspecting 7th,9th and 11th.

Let me attempt this Puzzle, with few methods and see whether I can pin point the

event to the female native chart. I have considered the following birth details

for this analysis:-

February 28, 1977Time: 12:10:00Time Zone: 1:00:00 (East

of GMT)Place: 9 E 08' 00", 49 N 59' 00"

***Event happend to the native on June 2nd 2004 ( late morning to early afternoon)***

1) Let me see first the current running Vimsottari Dasa: -

During the day of the event the native was running the following dasas.

Vimsottari Dasa (started from Moon):

Sat MD: 2003-10-12 (21:49:26) - 2022-10-12 (18:39:37) Sat AD: 2003-10-12

(21:49:26) - 2006-10-15 (16:58:56) Merc PD: 2004-03-31 (0:23:25) - 2004-09-06

(8:02:50)

First of all I have noticed that Native is running Sade Sati.

Sat Maha Dasa: The Moon is 8th and 9th lord placed in 2nd house Retro with

Gulika, Mandi, HL, A10, A11 and A4. This Retro Sat is placed in 6th house from

Sun and this Sun is enemy to Sat to from the compound relationship point of

view. Jup, Mer, Sun, GL and HL are all aspecting Sat by Rasi Drishti. You will

notice the powerful combination of GL,AL,SL aspecting Sat who is placed in 2nd

house in Cn. So this Maha Dasa will give some challenges along with some good

things also related to 6th and 2nd houses.

Now let us see the Sat Antar Dasa: Everything is same as we discussed above.

This Sat is placed in 2nd from Moon, this indicates to me that, something

realted to 2nd house. This Maha and Antar Dasa Lord Sat is placed in 12th in

Navamsa.

Merc Pratyantar Dasa: Merc is Lagna and 4th lord placed 9th house with 3rd Lord Sun with GL.

Now let us see the transits quickly:

Transit Jup is in Leo aspecting the natal 7th house, 9th house ( Merc, Sun and

GL) and 11th house ( Ketu) by Graha Drishti and also aspecting Rahu,AL,A8,A7 in

Li and Mar and UL in Cp and Ketu in Ar by Rasi Drishti.

Transit Rahu is in Ar which is the Natal 11th house and aspecting 12th, 3rd, 5th

and 7th houses by graha drishti.

Transit Sat is in Ge and aspecting 3rd, 7th and 10th houses of the natal chart.

Summary is: The native must have experineced an event related to the 2nd, 3rd,

7th, 9th and 12th houses by travel, marriage and some dharma related. We will

refine this a bit later.

2) Now let me look at the Tajaka Annual charts Point of view:-

Patyayini Dasa (useful in Tajaka charts):

Sat MD: 2004-03-01 (8:09:52) - 2004-08-02 (19:23:31) Jup AD: 2004-05-23

(7:38:34) - 2004-06-15 (2:26:59) Ven PD: 2004-06-02 (15:15:20) - 2004-06-02

Sat Mahadasa: Sat is 9th and 10th Lord and placed in 2nd house with A10 and

aspected by AL,A3 from Pi, A7 from Vi. This Sat is placed in 5th from Sun.

There is a Parivartana between Merc and Sat, which means this maha dasa lord Sat

is in his own house in 10th house.

Jup Antar Dasa: Jup (retro) is 8th and 10th Lord placed in 4th house and

apsected by Rahu from Ar and Sun and Merc from Aq. This Jup is placed in 4th

from Moon.

Venus Pratyantar Dasa: Ven is Lagna and 6th lord placed in 12th house with Rahu,

Mar and A8. This is showing a very good indications to me. but let us see

further. Here Jup is aspecting Venu, Rahu and Mars by graha drishti and also by

rasi drishti, so things may not be that bad here.

So the summary is: The native must have experineced an event related to the

Lagna (self), 2nd, 5th, 4th and 12th houses by progeny, travel, diksha etc., We

will refine this a bit later.

Now, Let me attempt this puzzle using Annual, Monthly and Daily T.P Chart and

see if I can identify the event.

3) Annual T.P Chart:-

March 1, 2004Time: 13:36:59

Vedic Weekday: Monday (Mo)Hora Lord: Mercury (5 min sign: Aq)

Hora Lord is Mer. This planet will be the most important planet for this day of

the event, even more important than Lagna lord as per the Annual T.P method.

The houses owned and occupied by this planet will set the tone for the main

events of the year. The strength, placement and yogas of this planet will have

a tremendous impact on the main events of the year. This Merc is the Lagna and

4th Lord and placed in 9th house with 3rd lord Sun.

But here you will see the Parivarthana between Sat and Mer hence Merc is

considered to be in Lagna and and own house with Moon, who is 2nd lord with GL

and A9. I see a lot of Dharma related thing going on here. This Merc is

aspecting 7th house and its lord Jup is placed in 3rd retro. This Jup is also

aspecting 7th, 9th and 11thst house too. Rahu is placed in 11th house.

Hmm...here you will notice, Saturnd and Jupiter are in Marana Karaka Sthana too.

But Lagna has Lagna Lord Merc and 2nd house Lord Moon with GL, aspecting HL in

Vi and SL in Sg, wow.. this indicates to me a very good combinations.

Week day lord is Moon, who is 2nd Lord and placed in Lagna. 3rd house and being

aspected and also aspecting the Hora Lord Sat in Pi. Venus is Functional

benefic to the Li Langa. So from this the important houses are : 1st , 3rd and

8th houses.

Lagna is in Ge and Natal Lagna is also Ge, so this is a good indicates this year

is favorable year for the native. Before we sum up, let us see quickly the

Nakshatras point of view also.

Lagna Lord Merc is in Satabhisa Nakshatra ruled by Rahu. Week day lord Moon is

in Arudra Nakshatra ruled by Rahu too. So who is Rahu for this Annual T.P

Chart. Rahu is 9th lord and placed in 11th house with 5th and 12th lord Venu

and 6th and 11th lord Mars. So the important houses are Lagna, 2nd, 9th and

11th houses.

The native is running the following Tithi Ashtottari Dasa of Janma tithi (useful

especially in Tithi Pravesha charts):

Merc MD: 2004-04-12 (23:07:24) - 2004-06-07 (12:14:01) Merc AD: 2004-05-30

Here you can see the Merc is playing an important role in the year along with Rahu again.

So if we summarise all the above, the effect of the event must have happend

which is connected with the houses of Lagna, 2nd, 9th and 11th houses.

4) Monthly T.P Chart Analysis:-

Vedic Weekday: Saturday (Sa)Hora Lord: Saturn (5 min sign: Vi)

Hora Lord is Sat, who is the 6th and 7th lord placed in 11th house. Lagna has

SL, Jup and its Lord Sun is placed in 10th house with 3rd and 11th lord Retro

Venus with Mandi and Gulika. Lagna is being aspected by Rahu and Ketu. Lagna

also being aspected by HL form Cp.

You will also notice that the week day lord is also Sat, so the above analysis repeats here again.

Now the Lagna is Le and it is 3/11 relationship, so that is good.

Tithi Ashtottari Dasa of Janma tithi (useful especially in Tithi Pravesha charts):

Merc MD: 2004-06-01 (18:42:13) - 2004-06-05 (18:36:00) Jup AD: 2004-06-02

(3:40:48) - 2004-06-02 (20:34:41) Merc PD: 2004-06-02 (13:24:07) - 2004-06-02

Maha Dasa Lord Merc is 2nd and 11th lord and placed in 9th house with Rahu, who

is 7th lord along with A5 and aspected by Jup from Lagna. Leo Lagna has Jup

(5th and 8th Lord) with A9 and SL.

Interestingly Merc and Jup both are in Nakshatra ruled by Venus. Rahu is the in

Marana Karaka Sthana and he is also in Nakshatra ruled by Venus. Venus is AK

here.

So summarising the above is giving an indication with the houses affected are

Lagna, 2nd, 7th and 9th houses again.

5) Daily T.P Chart Analysis:-

June 2, 2004Time: 2:07:34

Vedic Weekday: Tuesday (Ma)Hora Lord: Mars (5 min sign: Cp)

Hora Lord is Mars, who is the 2nd and 9th lord and placed in 4th house with Sat

(11th and 12th Lord) and also UL. Lagna is Pi and it has HL and its lord Jup is

placed in 6th house.

Very interestigly there is a parivarthana again between 2nd and 4th lords, so

Mars is back to its own house of 2nd house again with Rahu with A10 and

aspected by Jup from Leo. Also this Mars is being aspected by SL from Aq and GL

from Sc.

You will also notice that the week day lord is also Mars, so the above analysis repeats here again.

Now the Lagna is Pi and it is 4/10 relationship, so that is good.

Vimsottari Dasa (started from Moon):

Ven MD: 2004-06-02 (9:44:44) - 2004-06-02 (13:08:10)

Native was running Ven Maha Dasa during the event. Venus is Retro and 3rd and

8th lord placed in own house of 3rd house with Sun who is 6th lord. This Venus

is Mrigashira Nakshatra ruled by Mars who is nothing but Hora and Weekday Lord.

Grand Summary is : It indicates to me that the focus houses are 2nd, 9th and 12

houses from the above analysis. So the native must have got married and also

moved to a far away location(12th) during that time. If the native is already

married prior to this event, then the the native's Child should have got some

Fortunes, and travelled to far away places.

Having said that, I will handover this analysis to Gurus and Learned members to

correct me whereever I am wrong, so that I can learn from that.

Dear Dhira,

 

Is the person having problems conceiving children?The affliction of

Cancer by Sani and Mars and the malefic aspect of Rahu on Moon indicate

menstrual disorders. Am I under-estimating Randhra Maalika Yoga in her

chart?

 

 

July 19th

 

Moon,Mars and Mercury in Aaslesha, a tikshna(sharp/hot) naksharta, and

Venus on papa-kartari but in Rohini, a Dhruva (fixed) nakshatra and

aspected by the above combination could mean she probably had a

surgery. Was it an IVF? It could very well have been.

 

 

For a surgery to take palce she should be in Sani/Sani/Venus dasa.

Venus is in Pisces, indicator for hospitals and its dispositor in 12th.

As promised, I will now send the event which I was asking about in my

Quiz. Interestingly nobody got it right, though the answer suggesting

surgery came the closest by.

 

 

The native committed suicide by putting herself on fire. The last few

weeks her mental health deteriorated, and so she was brought to a mental

hospital. On the day of the event the hospital staff gave permission for

her to make a walk in the city, upon which she put herself on fire in a

public place. Two days after she died in hospital, being in coma.

 

The analysis: Mars in 8th house shows violent death, and see the link

between 1st, 3rd and 8th lords in mutual rasi dristi, with 2nd lord in

Lagna, plus going through Sade Sati: suicide. She was running dasha of 8th

lord Saturn, Sat-Sat-Moon, pratyantardasha of maraka.

 

Few months ago I read her chart, but also did not notice. We have a lot to

learn. May Brhaspati bless us,

I was wondering how accurate is the time?. Did the timezones change

after Germany merged?.

 

I am not sure but just want to propose the Idea that maybe native's

has Cancer Lagna due to

 

A) Saturn in lagna with mars in 7th will give classical Unmada

(madness yoga). And 3rd from AL will have Saturn aspected by Mars so

bad death due to this madness.

 

B) All quadrants have malefics. Giving Sarpa Yoga.

 

C) Lagna lord in 12th may give the person lack self esteem/self

undoing.

 

D) Mars and Ketu in quadrants, forms a Pisacha Yoga.

Ketu& Mars is also the 5th lord of Chitta or mental well being.

 

E) There is a Graha Mallika yoga from 7th house to lagna. Indicating

a sequnce of even starting from Mars(5th lord) and ending in Saturn

the 8th lord in Maranakaaraka staana.

 

F) Chara Kaaraka Replacement of Atma Kaaraka Rahu by Amatyakaaraka

Venus. The New Amatya Kaaraka will be Jupiter who is in Rashi Sandhi.

So the Chara Kaaraka replacement is very weak. Natural Age for Venus

is 25-26 Age.

Lagna is correct – all the conditions for suicide and depression are

there. Notice Rähu in trines to Moon – then look for benefics like Moon

or Jupiter associating with the 3rd from AL.

Your point on

Graha Malika Yoga seems to imply that her whole life was focused on dying?

Since we’re

talking about suicide, we could infer that the Nakñatras will show the

preferred method – Jupiter is in Krittika whose lord is Agni.

Whilst I didn’t

partake in the quiz, I’m happy that no-one jumps to predict death in

charts.

I was wondering how accurate is the time?. Did the

timezones change

after Germany merged?.

I am not sure but just want to propose the Idea

that maybe native's

has Cancer Lagna due to

A) Saturn in lagna with mars in 7th will give

classical Unmada

(madness yoga). And 3rd from AL will have Saturn aspected by Mars so

bad death due to this madness.

B) All quadrants have malefics. Giving Sarpa Yoga.

C) Lagna lord in 12th may give the person lack

self esteem/self

undoing.

D) Mars and Ketu in quadrants, forms a Pisacha

Yoga.

Ketu& Mars is also the 5th lord of

Chitta or mental well being.

E) There is a Graha Mallika yoga from 7th house to

lagna. Indicating

a sequnce of even starting from Mars(5th lord) and

ending in Saturn

the 8th lord in Maranakaaraka staana.

F) Chara Kaaraka Replacement of Atma Kaaraka Rahu

by Amatyakaaraka

Venus. The New Amatya Kaaraka will be Jupiter who

is in Rashi Sandhi.

So the Chara Kaaraka replacement is very weak.

Dear Dhira and those who attempted the quiz,

Thanks for posting the events as these happened in the life of the

unlucky girl. It was a brain storming quiz. Each one of us got it

wrong. We predicted all possible things like financial gain, father's

death, marriage, etc.

Now let each one of us explain how we reached the prediction we made.

This will initiate a debate on this and at the end evolve a consensus

as to how it should have been done. Exchange of ideas will also enhance

the quality of debate on this site. Other learned colleagues may also

join.

 

Let me start with my own effort. I predicted financial gain resulting

from a will. Running Sat MD obviously pointed that something from 8th

and 9th houses had happened. And since 9th looked innocous, 8th was the

rallying point. Next came the transits. Four planets transiting 2nd

house on this day was enough to show some relation between 8th and 2nd

house to the event. Of particular interest to me was the exact transit

of Mars on the second house. So the link between the two houses

appeared to me as a will (8th house) resulting in financial gain (2nd

house). What misguided me was the exaltation of Mars in the 8th house

and instead of taking this as increasing the power of the dusthana

house, I took it as something good in her life. Of course Mars doing

unexpected things was all along on my mind.

8th house is a tricky house. I have not understood this house fully

still. Some say strong 8th means protection from its evil effects. Some

say strong house lord means getting more of troubles while it is

reverse if the house is strong. It looks different in different charts.

It is also said that an empty 8th house is the least troublesome.

Indira Gandhi and HItler had it but both had a violent death. John F

Kennedy had a strong 8th house, Mars house lord and swagrahi but he had

a violent death. Diana had a swagrahi 8th house and she too had a

violent form of death.

 

So in my opinion the key to this puzzle was to take exalted Mars as

destructive and then things would come closer to the reality.

I leave the debate open to my learned colleagues.

Dear Dhira,Vijay,Nemani,Razdan and others,

 

At the outset i wish to congratulate all those who participated in the quiz. As

a student one has to participate. For whatever it is worth let me take up the

case as a student to at least find out whether the event can be seen (with the

little knowledge possessed by me).

 

The time given by Dhira is 12:10 PM (noon time). The time taken by me is 12hours

9mts and 6 seconds. (Rectified after considering ashtottaramsa,kunda,pranapada

and vighati priniciples).

 

The native is born when Mithuna lagna was rising with Moon in it. The thithi

prevailing at the time of birth was Sukla dasami ruled Moon. She was born in

Sun’s Hora. Her Atmakaraka was Rahu. Shodasottari dasa is applicable in this

case which is ruled by Rahu(rahu is the AK). On the date of event (19th july,

2004) the karmic clock showed the following rulers. As per the shodasottari

dasa scheme the native was running the dasa of Sani, the AD of Buda, the PD of

Moon, the SD of Sukra and the PAD of Sani.

 

Let us take up the lords one by one.

 

Sani: - He is retrograde. He has certain act to perform in connection with the

desire of the past. Let us see shastyamsa. He is the lord of lagna and is

placed in 5th with Moon (brahma), Guru (maheswara), Mandi, A9 and A2. This sani

has joined hands with rahu in disturbing the kalatra karaka Sukra(procreative

beeja which can go a long way in illuminating the ‘dhi’) and karaka of maternal

uncle Buda(analyst). At the same time sani joining hands with ketu (placed in

trine) is found disturbing Guru (dhi) and Moon (mana). Sani is the lord of 6th

weekday from Moon (Monday) and therefore can cause great agony to the mind when

placed together. All the three Sani,Guru and Moon are aspecting the third from

AL thereby causing the death in the previous birth. Sani is rudra. He occupies

prakashana avastha as per sayanadi avastha scheme and is placed in

9th from AL and is associated with A9 in Shastiyamsa. Such a position causes

great grief(in the negative). He is in yuva avastha and is sad and asleep as

per the other basic avastha scheme. He is placed in 12th (alongwith Mandi) to

badhaka lord Guru in Navamsa. In Nakshatraamsa the chart, which shows the

inherent strength and weakness Sani, is placed in the badhaka kshetra and has

argala on lagna and virodha argala to the 3rd house, which shows the impulses.

In rasi he is placed in 2nd the marakha sthana in association with Mandi and

Gulika and is the sign dispositor of Mars. In Sani’s asthakavarga the point

scored is 1.

 

Buda: - Buda is the lagna lord. He is the lord of impulses and is placed in 6th

alongwith Rahu(AK) whose nakshatraamsa ruler is Agni , venus and sun in

Nakshatramsa. The nakshatraamsa ruler for Buda is Agni. He occupies the

marakha sthana in shastyamsa and is the sign dispositor of Sani, Moon and Guru

and is the lord of 8th house. He occupies the agamana avastha, which is

capable of giving miseries (in the negative). As per the other avastha scheme

he is considered as an infant, in the state of dreaming and is dukhita. He is

placed in 5th in Trimsamsa lagna and therefore gives a hint that he is a

supporter of the papapurusha.

 

Both Sani and Buda are placed in trines to Guru (who is placed alongwith A8 and

is determined to punish the native in the form of fire) and AK Rahu and Sun.

 

Moon: Moon is in Nrityalipsaavastha and is therefore capable of giving lasting

sickness (if negative). As per the other basic avastha scheme she is considered

as yuva and is in the state of dreaming and is sad. Moon is the lord of 2nd

house in shathasma(killer) and is placed in lagna. In nakshatraamsa she is

placed in 2nd house and is subject to the machinations of Mars (krodha) and

Rahu(deceit/maya). Moon is in the star of Aridra and is placed in the lagna in

rasi. Mars placed in 8th in the star of Sravana is in Nakshatra veda to Moon

which gives a hint that Mars the ruler of Agni tatva can easily pierce through

(veda).

 

Venus: - Venus is the lord of 22nd drekkana. He is placed in 6th house in

Nakshatramsa alongwith Buda the lord of impulses. Like the AK Rahu, Venus also

occupies Bhrashta shastyamsa(bhrashta is a malefic shastyamsa and means

fallen).

 

Does the chart indicate short life? This is in fact the 1st question, which one

should answer. Short life is indicated as per the three pair method. 8th lord

Sani is placed in 2nd house, which indicates the 4th compartment of short life.

The native completed her 27th year in Feb, 2004. The 4th khanda begins

thereafter. By progressing the Trimsamsa ascendant we get the lagna atop Sani

in Trimsamsa in the 28th year, which gives a clear indication of death in 28th

year.
