Atmakaraka in Vargottama

>From all the interactive and productive discussions on mails, I have learnt that

AK produces troubles wherever he is placed in the birth chart.

 

In my birth chart, I have a leo Ascendant with Jupiter as AK in 11th house in Vargottama.

11th house represents friendship and i have very few friends, even among them i

feel disappointed as i do not get any reciprocal measures.

Inspite of doing good, i am extremely bad at making friends.

I understand that AK is in 11th house, but what other effects does it have since

AK is in vargottama (Jupiter in gemini in both rasi and navamsa)

Pls enlighten me on this

Dear Ajay,

 

I am not aware of significations of AK placement in D1 chart. AK's placement in

D9 house however gives characteristics of the native (based on desires of the

soul). Usually Malefic planets as AK show higher level of spiritual

development, benefics lower. It is during the Vimsottari dasa of AK planet that

the native has his greatest learning. These dasa are usually difficult. Jupiter

as AK would indicate respect for Guru and care for children. You may want to

BTW Jupiter by itself when placed in 11H should give good friends and may

indicate gains from respectable or powerful sources like government and

judiciary . It would however be essential to see aspects and aragalas from

other planets too.

 

Gemini is an inimical placement for Jupiter. Vargottama makes it stronger.

I am a student willing to share what I know and learn further in the process.

 

The indications that you have given are very positive. One however cannot always

take words literally. Also chart is usually seen and interpreted in totality

i.e. a synthesis of all placements. I would recommend that you check on

implications of placement of other planets in your chart too.

I have gone through the links.

 

I have 2 queries on my mind.

I counted the signs from AK to Navamsa lagna and noted it as 7. The natural

karaka for 7th house venus is placed in its own house libra receieving the

benefic aspect of Jupiter, so according to the website, My marriage shud be a

blessing?FYI my Navamsa Lagna is sagittrius and moon is in lagna with Jupiter

in 7th house in gemini. (If AK is in 7th house, the native is blessed with a

clean heart and many joys. If Venus is strong, marriage shall be a great

blessing) I read one more line, which confuses me Navamsa lagna lord is jupiter

which is also AK placed in 7th house does the coming line applicable to me " If

AK is in navamga Lagna, the native belongs to a royal family/ is of noble birth

and lineage. If navamga Lagna Lord conjoins AK, then the native, although of

humble origin shall rise to a high rank equal to a king. If the AK aspects

navamga Lagna, then Royal association shall be present from birth. The natural

karaka of 1st house (Sun) should be strong to indicate the extent of Rajyoga"

though AK aspects the Navamsa lagna, i did not have any royal associations from

birth pls explain?
