Dear Nitin,

Thank you for you reply and for giving the link to Sanjayji's article. I

respect your views. I am however putting forth a few points to get a better

understanding.

For selection Sanjayji has mentioned planets that have strongest planetary

influence. He has indicated 3 steps. I am not sure if they need to be

followed in that order. I gave weightage to planets aspecting since there

were none placed in the house. You have opted for the lord. You have a point

about Moon being in badhka rashi to 6th. Would it be inappropriate to pray

and appease a planet placed in badhka sthana?

I shall appreciate if you can give me some reference on D20 that may help in

deciding the form.

I agree 'absence' was an incorrect word used. The term used by Sanjayji is

disappearance. The slot created obviously gets filled. He also takes about

lopa (destruction) and I wondered if any remedy was needed for the same.

This is amongst the first question asked, and the answer is – no. The

Ishta does not change.

 

Going by the same logic, I would consider the Paalan Devi to remain

in the imprint of the chart as well.

 

In the chart offered, as it is, the Atma / Amatya planets sit in the

same House in Karakamsa.

 

Consider a form of Lakshmi.

So, when the AmK is replaced, will the Palana Devatha change too?

Similarly when the AK is replaced, will the Ista be replaced?
