Dear Nikhil,

According to

the book, “Interpretation of Dreams” by Pandit Ramesh Chandra

Bhattacharyya,

Pg 18 sloka

29

He, who see

(in dream) a leech, a scorpion or a snake, gets wealth, a son, victory and

renown.

Commentary:

According to

western opinion, seeing a leech in a dream brings despair. Sight of a special

kind of leech would bring an opportunity. Islamic interpreters opine that in

seeing leeches in a dream, there is acquisition of wealth. But when innumerable

leeches are seen, there would be an attack of diseases in the country. Seeing

scorpions in a dream would bring loss from enemies. Islamic interpreters also

opine that seeing sorpions in a dream would increase enemies.

Seeing a

snake in dreams forbodes quarrel with enemies and ultimate requital according

to Islamic. According to western oipinion, seeing a snake in dreams bring utter

destruction of plans.

>From my teenage

recollections (which you might have to confirm): According to Sigmund Freud, it

relates to the phallus, though I’d much prefer Carl Jung’s approach.

The colours

of the snakes will also be taken into account as well as the approach of the

dream to entail the correct interpretation. Much depends on the person’s

current situations at home or at work.

Love,

Swee

Dear Swee,

Thanks for the interpretation, Reshma would be very happy to have a son as she

is due in December.

What i wanted to know is what combination is causing such dreams. I have attached both the charts.

Both the natives say they see themselves in a room full of snakes and is there

any remedy to get rid of such dreams for they claim to have them quite often.

Love,

Nikhil

|Hare

Rama Krsna|

Dear

Nikhil, Namaskar

Rahu and

Gulika rule snakes, one superior and the other inferior, respectively.

The dreams

are seen from the 9th house, and the planets influencing the 9th

house or lord will indicate the nature of ones dreams. If rähu (or gulika)

associate with the 9th house, then expect dreams of snakes to come. Since

dreams of snakes are inauspicious in nature as they show the malignant force of

Rähu, these dreams indicate inauspicious events to come. Advise Reshma’s

husband to fast on days of the Upapada throughout the pregnancy. Sangeeta may

soon face some heavy financial tension, and should begin appeasing this by offering

food/money to a temple

of Sri Krishna on Fridays.

Hope this

helps.

Yours,

Om Gurave Namah

Namaste Nikhil,

I am sorry for butting in, but just thought I'll share my thoughts on

the subject.Usually, snake dreams indicate some sort of sarpa dosha

and it is most likely to impact progeny. So, for detecting sarpa

dosha, my feeling is that one has to look at Mars, Rahu and ketu, 5H

and 9H (5th from 5th) and chara putra karaka. the 5th house from Moon

also needs to be looked into.

The preliminary look at both the charts indicates that the

planet/Lord associated with 5th house is in Rahu/Ketu's nakshatra. In

Reshma's case, the 5th house is untenanted, but the lord Venus is in

Kumbha (9H, co-lorded by Rahu) and in Satabhisham, ruled again by

Rahu. Venus is very closely conjunct Jupiter, which would explain the

plethora of snakes. The room in the dream is perhaps the bedroom and

is signified by Venus. Further, chara putra karaka Saturn is conjunct

Mars and is in Mrigasira Nakshatra, owned by Mars. Further, the 5th

house from moon is also ruled by Mars, so, Naga dosha is there. But,

nothing to worry as Jupiter's aspect on 5H will protect the progeny.

In Sangeeta's case, the 5th house has Ketu in its own nakshatra and

the 9th house is lorded by Mars. The chara putrakaraka Moon is in

swathi nakshatra ruled by Rahu. The 5th house from moon is co-ruled

by Rahu again.

The remedy is recitation of Subrahmanya-ashtakam and abhishekam with

milk of a silver hood of a snake. My hunch is that the 2nd case

requires a stronger remedy, perhaps Naga pratishtha.

I also eagerly await the masterly analysis and advice of Ramdas

Raoji in this regard.

Regards,

Lakshmi
