Guest guest
||| Hare Rama Krishna ||| Dear Amit, Allow me to share some of my understanding… Answers below… Dear Sir, will mercury debiliated and combusted will make the mercury to lose its properties (speech ,communications, intelligence etc ) but i think that debiliation properties are also cancelled with that ??? i dont have the details ,so i dont know which houses it owns? [Via Nitin] Mercury is debilitated in Pisces, the House of the Maharishis. No matter how much a mimic apes to become one, he cannot become a Maharishi in this manner. Also check Mercury's position in the Navamsa (D9). One of Mercury's natural signification is communication (not intelligence). Some people associate poor communication with the intellect, whereas a lot of times people have a harder time expressing their intentions / thoughts. Mercury rules over Gemini and Virgo. >From what I recall (please check as well) the degrees of combustion for the different planets are the following: Planet Degree of combustion Mars 17° Mercury 13° Jupiter 11° Retr. Venus 8° Saturn 15° mercury and sun are never more than 28 degrees apart and being in one sign but more than 10 degrees(am i correct here) apart make budhhaditya yoga ,which gives a very good mind.. but i dont think it gives good intelligence at 1 degrees or when combusted. [Via Nitin] Examine Jupiter for Dhi (roughly translated as intelligence). venus also loses its properties when less than 3 degrees apart with sun. i want to ask other questions i have atmakarka mercury which is pure malefic for aries lagna, which is vargottama in dhanu and also retrogate(so many properties ) . [Via Nitin] Some are of the opinion that the Chara AtmaKaraka is never a malefic, and is the protector of a chart. You were born for certain reasons, and the lessons of the pathway may not be as nurturing as you desire. Vargottam indicates the mentioned planet is in the same sign in the Navamsa (chart of Dharma) as in the Rashi, and becomes very influential. Retrogression, astrologically, symbolizes a deep desire of the past related to the planet and that one may struggle with the significations of such or have something unconventional about the said planet. what is the effect of such atmakarka ?? [Via Nitin] Examining the whole chart will give better insight. atmakarka dasha is always considered to be bad. will these properties make mercury more malefic or somewhat better. [Via Nitin] There are various Dasha systems to be considered. Which one are you referring to? Some consider the AtmaKaraka Dasha(s) to be challenging as intimate lessons of the soul do not come as easily, and hence can lead to frustration. What if you better understood what Mercury was doing in your chart, and you are more familiar with where challenges lie? Would the knowledge perhaps make the dashas more easy…? rashi dispositor of mercury is jupitor which is in 8th house vrishchika. is lagna lord stone always good irrespective of the placement ,the other lordship and debiliation concerned?? in my case some astrologers suggsested me 9th(dhanu) lord jupitor's stone pukhraj which is also 12th lord and placed in house 8th (12th to 9th), will it be good .. [Via Nitin] I am not as familiar with stones as some of the others. Before we determine whether it is "good" or "bad" I would suggest understanding what purpose it would serve? Where are you struggling in life? is lagna lord in 5th house but eclipse by rahu (or to say -just 1 degree away from rahu ) gonna give good results??? in this case for aries lagna native has mars in 5th house with rahu 1 degree away (both 2-3 degrees in the 5th house ) ? please tell me . [Via Nitin] A complete chart may give us better insight. the other doubt is about ishta-devta, in navmasha chart we see the position of planet in 12th from atmakarka ,or we see 12th house lord diety as ista-devta. is there are two planets in 12th house ,will we take the planet-diety with higher longitude as ista-devta. light from revered gurus is needed . [Via Nitin] For your consideration: http://www..org/learn/ck.htm http://www..org/learn/ck.htm#_Toc25590630 Check the 12th House from the sign having the AK in the Navamsa. If there is / are planet(s) in there consider them. Take the one with the highest degrees as the Ishta. If there are no planes there, take the ruler of the sign being examined. Hope some of this helps you. Take care. Bet wishes and warm regards, Nitin. || Namah Shivaaya || thanx with best regards -amit
