Dear Narshimha Ji Namste

I dont know whether Satta in Hindi is derived from Sanskrit Satva

but there is a Sanskrit word Satta meaning Excellence. To me it

seems more logical that Satta in Hindi is taken from Sanskrit Satta

when meaning of the word in both the languages is more or less same.

But you may be correct.

Thanks a lot for your Time and Sapce.
