Question on Timing marriage

Dear Friends/Gurus,

 

Please clarify my doubt on timing marriage (COVA vs IAVA again).

 

Chart#72 in COVA (page 274), where it is said that "Libra is the 3rd house

from UL and is the place of death of spouse".

Example#72 in IAVA (page 215), "Dasas of 1st, 3rd and 8th from UL can give

marriage ..."

 

The only difference here is that the discussion in COVA, its ND of Rasi

chart, while in IAVA its ND of D-9.

 

How can the same houses have contradictory meanings ?

 

I am sure, as usual missing something here, please pardon my ignorance and

clarify my doubt.

Dear Sarath

 

3rd From AL is the house of death for the person. This can be seen in

NDs or such rasis, the planets conjoining the third from AL show the

type of death.

 

Marriage query:- In the navamsa chart, the 2nd, 7th from Ul can be

troublesome for marriage. hence the dasas of 3rd(2nd from 2nd) and

8th-2nd from 7th can give marriage, or a better condition and

environment for marriage(Narayana dasa shows environment_
