Guest guest
|Hare Räma Kåñëa| Dear Mayank, Namaskar. There is more to this than just the color of the sign Scorpio. The goal of worship of each Mahävidyä is for: 1) Gaining absolute knowledge. 2) Purifying and removing ones weaknesses. The weakness of Mars is its ability to eclipse Jupiter! This is why Jupiters Marana Karaka Sthäna is the 3rd house, whose Karaka is Mars. Hence; the purpose of Bagala Puja is Ahimsa, so that our anger does not destroy our knowledge, and instead anger leaves us completely. For this reason Bagala is also called Ananda Dayakini - in which she is invoked to give supreme bliss (Shiva Purana). Also this worship would enable Jupiter to give knowledge of the past present and future, without Mars blocking its way. If this worship is used for wrong purposes, then the object of Ahimsa is lost and ones intuition will start failing, just as Mars gets more power to eclipse Jupiter. And go figure you were referring to Jupiters color – this is the color of Tumeric (Haldi). To see which planets eclipse which, draw the Vära chakra – this is the lords of the 7 weekdays, plus the 2 nodes in the end, in the following sequence; Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rähu and Ketu. – this should be drawn in a circle with 9 spokes. Now count to the 8th from any of the grahas in this order. The resultant Graha has the power to eclipse the specific Graha. Example: take the Sun: the 8th Graha from Sun is Rähu in this Chakra, hence Rähu has the power to eclipse the Sun. The 8th from Moon is Ketu… and so on – now the 8th from Jupiter would be Mars, in this manner understand the power of Grahas to eclipse. Notice I use the word Bagala and not – Bagalamukhi. Once we add the word; mukha to her name, its for the purpose of causing Sthambana (vipaxadalana stotra). There are other suffixes to her name to invoke her auspicious form in which all people will speak good of you; Ambe, ambike, ambalike – i.e. Baglämbe, Bagalämbalike, etc. So be very specific in the use of the Devi’s name. Chinnamasta is also called Vajra-vairochani. Kali’s real name is Kalikä. Durga is another SMS name, her real name is Durgatinashinyai – the one who destroys the wrong path – hence Gatistvam Gatistvam Tvam Eka Bhavani – only the mother can put us on the right path, be it Radha, Durga or Mary. Guest guest
Dear Swee, The correct terminology is Anandadayini and not dayakini/anandadayakini. It means one who bestows bliss and is a common adjective to describe the mother in any of her forms; not just Bagala. It is not exactly a name but is a common adjective which is akin to a name like Annadayaini, Mokshadayini, Siddhibuddhipradayini, Kalyani, Parabrahmaswarupini etc. The energy maybe Lakshmi, Kali or Saraswati, but all these adjectile names are used commonly to describe the Divine Mother in all her forms. I got this from; http://sanskrit.gde.to The mantras are derived from the stotram. One nice one to avoid enmity is; “Namaçribagalämbikayai”. Guest guest
Mukund, Why dont you put your money where your mouth is, to show us that you really believe what you say? Frame an astrological challenge: "I, Mukund the Hindu, sorry Mukund the Born Hindu, will give 1,000 US dollars of my money to each person who shows the astrological proof of the existence of spirituality and enlightenment yogas in non- Indians and non-born-Hindus". From your point of view, no one should be able to collect from you, right? You can have some respectable born-Hindu Guru verify the charts.. I'm willing to put forth a couple of charts of non-Indian non-born-Hindu gurus on this group in order to collect a few grand.. Now, that would make your belief really interesting to me..
