Guest guest
Dear Mukund, Weak malefic is more malefic, where strong malefic is capable of giving far less malefic effects. This of course has to be applied based on the placement and functional nature of planets. For example in pravrajya yoga weak combust planets, with strong Sun give pravrajya denoted by Sun, whereas strong Malefics similarly placed make a person devoted to such holy men. So the effects, whether malefic or benefic would depend on one's point of view of looking at an event. In the example you have quoted rahu occupying Mars's house will give results of Mars too. Therefore in 6th he would probably give you victory over enemies. This is because the nodes give results of house lord, planets associating them and planets in 7th from where they are placed. In addition they give results of Saturn in case of rahu and Mars in Ketu's case if placed as a single planet in a rasi. Guest guest
Dear Chandrasekhar: Thanks for your notes. I'm specifically interested in knowing how would Rahu in 6th house behave/react to the aspect of Mars from the 11th house. AND, how would the 6th house (Aries) behave/react to the aspect of Mars, i.e. will it be strengthed or weakened and what would "strengthened" or "weakened" mean? I've been reading for months and months trying to decipher/understand the above noted situation, but am getting contradictory information which is confusing me even more. For example, Some books/authors say that Mars weakens the house it aspects so if 6th house is aspected, enemies will be weakend and therefore will be destroyed--which is a good thing for me. At the same time some books/authors say that if a planet aspects its OWN sign, it strengthens the sign--does this mean that I'll have strong enemies who'll hurt me? SO my big cofusion is this--what would happen to 6th house (Aries) aspected by Mars from the 11th house AND what would happen to Rahu placed in this 6th house (Aries) due to Mars's aspect. I'm been trying to decipher this as my Rahu mahadasa is beginning from April 2005 and am trying to understand how would it turn out. (June 14, 1967; Bombay; 5.29 pm). I'm hoping you or Ramdas Guru or other learned Gurus would clear my confusion. Thanks. Guest guest
Dear Mukund, Mars being Lagna lord and 8th lord would no doubt give troubles from enemies or in service, generally speaking. These could even be brothers/cousins/coworkers in work environment. But 6th bhava being strong and positing Rahu, you will vanquish them. Rahu alone acts like Saturn, its Antardasha in its own Mahadasha should be good, especially for service if you are in one. You might also have to travel to distant lands, during this period. Generally first half of the Mahadasha per se would be a bit problematic, depending on Antardashas involved and second half remarkably good. The reason is Saturn is lord of the 3rd and 4th. Hope this helps. Chandrashekhar. monmuk111 wrote: > Dear Chandrasekhar: > > Thanks for your notes.
