Dear Ramesh,

On the whole a good analysis. Why would lord of 7th and 8th be a

functional neutral? Any specific reason? Anyway Saturn Antar in Saturn

Mahadasha should be good. He would have change of residence when Saturn

moves to Virgo, or Jupiter to Libra at the earliest.

Dear Shri Chandrashekharji,

Thank you for your kind response.

Saturn as lord of kendra would tend to loose its malefic properties. 8L

gives effect as per its association (in this case Mercury), It will however

have qualities of being a 8L. I therefore called it a neutral. Kindly

correct me if my understanding is not correct. Shri B V Raman in chapter 17

of Hindu Predictive Astrology does not list Saturn (for Cancer Lagna) either

as Benefic or as Malefic.

I have noted your comments regarding change of residence during Jupiter's

transit through Libra. Jupiter will then be in 4th from Lagna and aspecting

10th and 12th? Is it because of Jupiter afflicting the karkas of the bhava

in which it is placed?

I had indicated possible change of residence during Saturn's transit through

Leo (aspecting 4H from 2H). You are probably not in agreement! I shall

appreciate if you can elaborate.

I also wish to know the extent to which gandanta and rashi sandhi planets (4

of them) could damage the significations of bhavas owned in this case.
