What are your thoughts on the matter(s)….?

 

I am sharing a few things from my understanding:

Besides the planetary placement, one has to look at the entire chart

in perspective. Be sure to cross-check the Navamsa to see how and

where the planets are. The Maharishis were hinting more at the

Nakshatras (further divisions of he constellations, and the padas

<Dharma / Artha / Kaama / Moksha> ) to reveal why a planet is in a

state of "exaltation" and "debilitation."

Grah Characters and Description

 

49-50. Exaltation and Debilitation. For the seven Grahas, from Sûrya

on, the exaltation Rashis are, respectively, Mesh, Vrishabh, Makar,

Kanya, Kark, Meen and Tula. The deepest exaltation degrees are,

respectively, 10, 3, 28, 15, 5, 27 and 20 in those Rashis. And in the

seventh Rashi from the said exaltation Rashi each Grah has its own

debilitation. The same degrees of deep exaltation apply to deep fall.

Dear Gurus and Learned List Members,

 

What could be the portents for a Ge Lagna with Moon in 12th House in

Taurus 17dg? Can this be considered an exalted moon in general terms?

If so,

how does this relate to the 12th house of loss? Or do these have to be

treated as two separate issues?

 

The same chart has combusted Venus (and Sun) in 2H of Cancer. With

Moon in

Taurus and Venus in Cancer, can this be considered as exchange yoga?

Should

the recent transit of Venus across Sun on 8-Jun-04 have any special

effects

on this native? Details of the birth are 14th-Aug-63, 01:24am, 88E25

22N53.

 

Finally, is there any compendium or single database of the various

interpretations? There are "300 important combinations" as well as

scattered

information that can be gleaned from various books, but does anyone

know of

any one book or database that is dedicated solely to the

interpretations?
