Guest guest
||| Hare Rama Krishna ||| Dear Raghunadha, Pt. Rath' swords offer great simplicity and practicality to consider. There has been a lot of discussion on the Arudhas and compatibility with regards to marriage in the past. I`ll write a few lines based on my memory: Some general understandings: TRINES give direction (Houses 1, 5, 9) QUADRANTS give support (Houses 1, 4, 7, 10) DUSHTHANAS are Houses 6, 8 12 UPACHAYAS are Houses 3, 6, 10 11 MARAKAS are Houses 2, 7 When examining the Arudhas in a chart, look at where the UL and the AL fall. Check how far they are apart as well as their lords. This will reveal a lot to us. Expanding on the above, 7th from an Arudha shows obstruction. Remember, the Arudha is reflective of Maya, the "rising point" of something. So, for example, of there are planets are 7th from the UL, these forces would indicate those opposing the marriage. Check the natural significators, etc . of the actual planets. If the UL / AL are 2/12 to each other, than one of the partners is extremely giving to the other. However, if the giving is not pleasing to the partner, then there will be rejection, and this may lead to separation. In another example if the UL / AL fall 6/8th from each other, there is going to be rivalry between partners. For marriage, the designated or determined UL should ideally also be in TRINES to the RASHI Lagna of the partner for compatibility. The A7 reflects where the desires of the person manifest in the physical realm of the Rashi. Beyond this, also check for Ghaatak ("that which wounds") in the chart. There are Ghaatkaks for everyone. Such are for Tithis / Days / Rashis, etc. I hope some of this helps. Take care. Best wishes, and light, Nitin. || Namah Shivaaya || Hare Rama Krishna Namaste Sanjay Ji, Thanks for your reply with clear suggestions on how to approach for the compatability analysis. Please guide me/us, on what situations, one shoud use the UL, AL and A7 comptability. Thanks for your help in advance.
