The Governement was not run by BJP only but with the help of some allied parties like TDP,AIDMK etc. So is it not necesary to check all the allied partys' charts also ? When you have a problem, think Logically and go back to basics. I have always maintained and adviced learned friends to adopt simplicity in reasoning. All advanced methods of TP charts and other D60 are fine but only when you are thorough with basics and know the problem from roots to the flowers. Hope I am not ruffling feathers again. I'm sick and tired of Jyotishas attempting to explain/justify an EVEN AFTER THE EVENT HAS HAPPENED. Isn't this very convinient? If a Jyotisha attempts to explain an even AFTER it has occurred already, it becomes mathematics (logic and probability) rather than the divine knowlege of Jyotish. If you were an engineering student in India, do you guys remember how we used to manipulate the data in order to come up with the RIGHT results when we KNEW THE FINAL ANSWER, i.e. the experiments we used to conduct for proving the value of Earth's gravitational force, etc. Similarly, if the ANSWER is KNOWN of an astrological event, it is very easy to manipulate the planetary placements, the mool dasas, the Narayana dasas, the Vimsotarri dashas, the Tithi pravesh charts, etc., etc. to justify the EVENT. Its not that Yogi Karve is always 100% right but this one might be coming true. Once this is perceived and understood in it's correct context the question "why", "failure" and other similar words will automatically become redundant within astrology. I too had predicted (though perhaps not on the list) that Vajpaiji would remain the prime minister, no matter the position of the NDA per se. I accept the failure totally, unless the days ahead bring something , which at present appears impossible. I think the reason is that Vajpai's correct birth data is not available. I have seen many using 1926 as his birth year. The Official site of BJP states that he was born in 1924. It is also known that he was born on Brahma Muhurta. Now the question that has not yet been answered is whether to treat the date which is 25th of December is to be taken per Indian system of Sunrise to sunrise or Midnight to midnight. I use the chart with Libra rising and Moon, Venus in 2nd house as the chart had appeared in "Tarun Bharat" a daily of RSS. The chart matches 3.30 a.m. time which is treated as Brahma muhurta by many for Sadhana and I am certain that this what Vajpai's father had meant when he said he was born on Brahma Muhurta. I am still trying to get the correct from Vajpaiji. Having said that I have no hesitation in accepting that, at least as things stand today, the prediction did go wrong. Regards, Chandrashekhar. Guest guest Posted May 13, 2004 Report Share Posted May 13, 2004 Dear Chandrashekhar, Ramadas, and Sanjay ji, The astrological forecasting regarding forthcoming Indian Govt. is again proved incorrect prediction during this year, after Cricket World Cup 2004, by all the well versed Indian astrologer. This has been caused to enhance the suspicion about the relibility of astrology in the minds of masses. Paid-astrologers' propaganda on TV and newspapers further worsen the condition. Now the post-martum analysis and if-&-then reasoning can not become a ligical excuse of the said failure, atleast for a layman. There is a difference between "What is going to happen" and "What we want to happen". Desires and dreams are not always prove true. Among the various characteristics laid down by Classical Astrologer (Parashar, Varahamira and etc) for a successful astrolgoer and true prediction includes unbiasness. But in both the cases (World Cup 2004 and Indian Election 2004), unfortunately most of the analyst could not remained 'unbiased' and 'impartial', on account of their natural tendency towards nationalism. It is really difficult to think/analyse beyond caste, ethnicity, and belief. Lastly, the lack of essential information and true birth detials (as hinted by Chandrashekhar) and exclusion of outer planets in mundane affairs, resulted in confusion and ultimately led to false predictions. Apar from all these, it is really admirable, that many astrologers accepted the resposibility of predictions proved incorrect. This is why the first shloka that appears in Astrological magazine says "phalaani grahacaareNa sUcayanti maniSiNa" rest only the almighty knows with absolute accuracy. Sanjay did predict about Naveen Patnaik winning while we were at Puri and it has turned out accurate. These things are bound to happen in any predictive science and teaches one humility.
