Guest guest Posted April 28, 2004 Report Share Posted April 28, 2004 dear sunil sorry, i couldnt reply earlier.... mr. goel has given me a reply in detail. here it is.. there are many given in various texts in relation to this topic. i'll quote various texts. parasara says rahu has full aspects of 5,7, & 9 half aspect of 2 & 10. & it has malefic aspect of 3 & 6. it does aspect his own house. (bphs, bombay edition sl 26). laghu parasari rahu & ketu have seventh apsect for formation of yogas. vridhhi karika says rahu has 2,7,5 &9 aspect on padas. it does not consider ketu's aspect. his own views: do consider trines from both nodes, as they cast influence on trines. for dristi on padas, consider only rahu's. special attention should b paid to to rahu's malefic aspects i.e. 3 & 6. for checking yogas, only conjunction & 7th aspect should b seen. for bhava padas, dont consider ketu's aspect of 5,7,& 9. i have not seen any other astrologer even mentioning abt 3 & 6 aspect of rahu. we tried using it on a few charts, it works well. i felt like as if a secret was revealed to me. of course, we can test it on more charts once akshic records project goes on. if u have any questions , plz let me know. i'll try to get those clarified with him. regards prashant narang Win a $20,000 Career Makeover at HotJobs Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It does not talk about Rahu and Ketu having aspect on 7th house. Since he only says tomograhH, it could also mean only Rahu. I have to thank Robert Koch for compiling these and posting this on another list in 2001. One has to read carefully and decipher Rashi / Graha Drishti accordingly... =============================== CLASSICAL REFERENCES TO THE ASPECTS OF RAHU AND KETU BPHS, Chapter 9, verses 7-11: Grahas (any Graha) in the 12th house will be the source of a short life, specifically the luminaries (Sun and Moon), Venus, and Rahu. But the aspect of these four planets (on the 12th house) will counteract such evils." BPHS, Chapter 30, verse 38: 38. If Rahu is in the 7th or the 12th from Ascendant Pada or gives an aspect to one of the said houses, the native will be endowed with spiritual knowledge and be very fortunate. BPHS 33, 36: Ketu's aspect on the 5th from Karakamsha will cause dysentery and other diseases caused by (impure) water.
