Perhaps another analogy would about Spray dried cow milk being proposed to be best for a child not more than 50 years ago and again complete turn around and saying that mother's milk is best in recent times. Even an illiterate cattle breeder knew that mother's milk is essential to build immunity in a calf, but not the modern day scientists, till they were proved wrong. You should also look at the findings of Mars expedition and then see why Rishis called it Bhumiuputra and said that it is fiery.
