Guest guest
Dear Members: After learning a few lessons from the exchange on job loss/gain in the past few days, here is my attempt to predict job loss for another native in the coming days. Native background ----------------- Works in a company that has just declared layoffs. Native's group will likely be hit by this company wide layoff. Will native be affected on 4/30/2004 when the company announces list of affected employees? Native birth data ----------------- ToB: 15:32 IST DoB: 7/23/1977 PoB: 75E7, 23N31 Please note that ToB has been verified for human birth via Kunda/Pranapada Lagna technique. However, I do not know other techniques for birth time recitification. Also note that the lagna in D-10 changes if ToB is moved forward by 37 seconds. Is there a way we can rectify the birth time further to ensure that D-10 lagna is correct? Kindly comment. Analysis and Predictions ------------------------ 1) I am unable to analyze whether this chart is promising a good career or not. In rasi, 10th lord Sun conjoined with Saturn and Mercury in 9th confuses me. 10th lord Sun also conjoins Gulika within 1 degree in the 9th house. I do not know what to make of that. Besides, 10th lord is placed in 12th from the AL. So supposedly the native should not have a great career. But again, I just don't know... I would appreciate if somebody can help me with a methodology to analyze the promise of career in a given chart. For now I will just comment on whether this native will face job loss come 30th april. 2) Moon is strong in this chart (with three planets in its quadrants) and hence, I will use Moon vimshottari. The native is currently running Jup-Mer-Rahu vimshottari dasa. Mercury is Atmakaraka in this chart. It is debilitated in Navamsa. As a result, this Atmakaraka instead of helping the native's soul to rise spiritually, will lead the soul more towards materialism during its dasa. 3) Now let us examine Mercury and Rahu in D-10. Mercury is placed in 2nd (artha trikona) from D-10 lagna and is involved in Parivartana Yoga with Jupiter (in 8th). Usually planets in Artha trikona do not give job loss in their antardasa. However, in this D-10, because Mercury is involved in Parivartana with a planet (Jupiter) that is comparatively stronger (shadbala wise), Jupiter's effects will be felt during Mercury antardasa. Jupiter is placed in 8th from D-10 lagna and hence, can give job loss. Now coming to Rahu. Rahu is in 3rd from D-10 lagna and hence, can give job loss ONLY IF antar-dasa will allow. For the given chart, it is quite likely that Mercury under influence of Jupiter will give results of Jupiter antardasa for D-10 significations. Hence, Jupiter-Mercury-Rahu dasa cannot be ruled out for job loss. Note that no separate analysis is required from A10 since it conjoins the D-10 lagna. 4) Narayana Dasa analysis - On 4/30 the native will be running Ar-Ta- Cp narayana dasa of D-10. Ta being the 7th from D-10 lagna is not a good dasa for job (service). Also Cp is the 3rd from D-10 lagna. Hence, Ar-Ta-Cp Narayana dasa has the potential to give job loss. 5) Gochar analysis - I would have used Gochar had I known how to use it. I am trying to learn using Gochar going forward. If somebody wants to augment this analysis with Gochar, I would be most delighted. Taking the above points into consideration, I conclude that the native will be affected by layoff on 4/30. Here, I have presented my thought process and prediction resulting from it. PLEASE do comment if you think that I might have overlooked some factors in this analysis. I will post on this list the actual event result once I find out from the native after 4/30. Namaste. Rageshwari.
Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna Dear Rajeswari, Can you please tell us what is the original time of birth reported. I mean prior to the rectified time, as I am seeing D-10 Langa change in 40+ seconds to prior Rasi.
