FW,Why ketu acts as Mars and Rahu as saturn

answer.

So Mars though appears to be harsh, is an emotional character?

And saturn acts without heart?All brains and hence saturn protects

the house in which he is placed?Saturn is karma karaka and also have

read in ashtakavarga site that lagna,moon and sun when in certain

staurnian vargas indicates intelligence.Why is that so -what

significance is saturn having,compared to jupiter(wisdom) and

mercury, related to intelligence.

If time permits principles of saturn and mars(comparative) in

essence will be interesting to me and may be for the list.

 

Also kindly help in identifying your picture from the snaps which

Shri Sanjay Rath ji has sent:).

It has perhaps due to the observations made in the way the nodes

affect

a chart, that led to the dictum. The names were perhaps given on

that

basis by the Sages. If we look at rahu it has only head and like

Saturn

it would indicate analysis of an event without getting swayed by

heart

in addition to getting things done through brains than brawns as it

does

not possess body. Reverse is true for Ketu all feelings and brawns,

This

fits in nicely with Saturn and Mars characteristics attributed to

them.
