Guest guest
Namasthe, In continuation to this email, I havent myself analysed these details. I have assumed that respected Rao has correctly calcuated. I would suggest you visit Shiva temple and pray from your heart. That would be more befitting. Guest guest
Namasthe! You can visit Shani Temple. Shiva is considered to be the lord of Isha and praying to the almighty would help. Guest guest
om namo näräyaëäya|Dear Sunil, Yes, you can visit Shani temple also. But Shiva Temple is more auspicious to visit and perform Rudrabhishekam or Bilwa Patra Archana. Now Makara is the swakshetra for Shani which is called Ishwaramsha Kshetra as per Nadi system. Now here is a Mantra for Shani which says : CHATURBHUJO BHAANACHAPPA KHADGAHASTO VARAPRADAH. GRUDHRAVAAHANO GATO NITYAM SHANKAROTHU SHANAISCHARAH. So visiting Shiva Kshetra is highly auspicious for Shani's remedies and that is the reason for Sadesati,Rudram-Namakam- Chamakam is the best remedy. I hope this helps you. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Narasimha, My guess for this important day is that the first day of Kali Yuga began on Trayodasi during Krishna Paksha. This Trayodashi also began with Brahma Yoga. The pundit here suggests that we do Sri Gopala Sahasranaam on Monday morning..... whatever is left of Amavasya. [saturday is ruled by Saturn and Trayodasi is ruled by Jupiter. Their combination is prescribed as a good time to pray to Saturn. Especially Krishna Sani Trayodasi (combination of Saturday and Trayodasi tithi in the darker fortnight) is mentioned by elders. Tomorrow is such a day.] Because of this special combination, this became a Siddha Yoga day?? Thanks. love, Swee swee www.brihaspati.net pvr108 [pvr] 16 April 2004 20:47 vedic astrology [vedic astrology] Sani Trayodasi: A Good Day for Propitiation Om Sanaischaraaya Namah Namaste friends, Tomorrow (Saturday) is a Sani Trayodasi, i.e. it is a Saturday on which Trayodasi tithi (13th lunar day) occurs. The five limbs of panchanga (tithi, weekday, nakshatra, yoga and karana) show the five elements - water, fire, air, ether and earth (respectively). As weekday represents the fiery aspect of the quality of time, any imbalances in it are canceled by tithi, which shows the watery aspect of the quality of time. Thus, some special combinations of weekdays and tithis are specially pointed out by elders as important days. Saturday is ruled by Saturn and Trayodasi is ruled by Jupiter. Their combination is prescribed as a good time to pray to Saturn. Especially Krishna Sani Trayodasi (combination of Saturday and Trayodasi tithi in the darker fortnight) is mentioned by elders. Tomorrow is such a day. It is a good idea to pray to Sani this Saturday. It will be particularly good if you can pray before Trayodasi ends (i.e. before 7:31 am EDT on the east coast of USA or 11:31 am GMT or 5:01 pm IST). May the kind blessings of Sani Deva and other planets shine on you all! May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha Links
