Dear friends,

 

Our moderator Narasimha Ji made a wise decision to set the reply

settings to the sender by default. This is great for cutting down

personal messages that are only of interest to the sender and the

receiver. For example, sending birthday wishes etc. However, we seem

to be missing some important messages, since we are responding to the

individual even for items that would be of interest to other members.

I am as guilty of this as anyone else, so please don't take this in

the wrong spirit! Now I wish I had sent my replies to the group, so

that the experts on this group could critique my analysis, and I

could learn from that.

 

May I request that you send any analysis or discussions or concepts

or explanations or remedies to the entire group? Narasimha Ji, if you

don't think this is a good idea, please let me know, I am not trying

to tell you how to run your newsgroup.
