Nimitta, Results & Timing - Signs/Omens

Hello Friends,

In predicting events, I have been helped a lot in interpreting omens, shukunams

signs ....what ever you call these DIVINE SIGNALS.

Every single time, they have stood the test and given correct results.

So , an astrologer should be always be attentive to what is happening around

him when predicting.

A person came out of the religious monument he had gone to pray, he was praying

that his marriage happen faster and the obstacles be removed. This was his 3rd

day in a row as he was going through tyring times and while driving he was

thinking cant God help him, show him a SIGN. So when he comes out after praying

to the Mother, he sees a car passing him by which had decorations of flowers on

it, the one people decorate on cars when one is to get married etc.

 

So is this a Nimitta ( i humbly presume) and does it say that he shall get

married, how does one time the result of this. Timing that we want is man made

and the Universe has its own timing.

Dear SunilNimitta is a different subject altogether, and intution plays

acrucial role here.There are many forms, like when you are going to office,

what kind ofday it is, is it cloudy or sunny etc. Basically nimitta is reading

ofnature, and trying to interpret the signals recieved. It is not aneasy task

at all.I cant say whether nimitta applies in your friend's case. He forgotto

switch off the gas, how can it be nimitta,all i can say is that heneeds to be

Yes that is a nimitta, he did not cause the car to come that way right

Dear Sunil,

Normally Nimittas are used in Prashna Shastra.Sometimes in our daily life,we

talk something important to our friends or our family members and at that

time,say the bell rang indicating what we are telling or discussing is going to

be correct.In Prashna Shastra,while the queriest is asking a query and at the

same time the Jyotish observes some Nimitta,it indicates something connected

with the query.This is clearly given in Prashna Margam and if you go through

previous mails,I had given a lot of Nimittas and their results.If you can not

find them,then I have to write fresh again.

Hi Sunil, I'm not familiar with the word Nimitta or like results of

them, but your interpretation of it as a sign (a) is something like

how I would interpret it too, especially since your friend feels(or

you feel even)it means something. Like even if she thought she

forgot to turn it off...I kinda think because it's something she

took notice of the next morning as being symbolic, that her action

the night before was a subconscious pre-planned act, which left just

enough of an imprint in her conscious mind to remember to take

notice of it's meaning. Well, so adding on to your thoughts, I would

say the guru behind the scenes is actually herself, and the song

that comes to my mind is ~'this little light of mine....i'm gonna

let it shine....'~ and I don't think it was laughable, Angie

Hi Angie ji,

Thanks for ur letter. The word signs/omens was mentioned in the subject heading

of this post, I sometimes consciously try to add english words for hindi words

for those who are not familiar with hindi words, it helps to make everyone feel

comfortable here

Nice of you to let me know that even u felt the same re the interpretation and

adding that extra wonderful touch " this light of mine.. I am gonna make it

shine" - considering that person is going thro office politics since she has

been promoted kinda of recently it makes sense.

You seem to have a pleasant and humorous way of looking at life.
