Guest guest
Namaste friends, I am giving the daily Tithi Pravesha charts (DTPC) of the four main candidates of US democratic primaries of Feb 7 & 8, my astrological reasoning and the final judgment. I wanted to write earlier, but did not get time. I somehow managed to find a little time to type this out now. The results will start coming soon (I am assuming it will be at 7 pm like on the other days). So I found time to write it down quickly. * * * (1) John Kerry: 6 Feb 2004, 11:43 pm (TZ: 6:00 west), 104w59, 39n447 Feb 2004, 11:27 pm (TZ: 6:00 west), 104w59, 39n44 The first chart is active when the results of Michigan and Washington come in. Mercury is the hora lord. He is the lagna and 10th lord. He is involved in an exchange with 5th lord. Exchange between the lords of 5th and 10th is a raja yoga. In D-10 also, Mercury is the 5th lord in 10th and 10th lord is in 5th. It is a great day for Kerry. He should ace the two caucuses. However, the second chart becomes active by the time of Maine results. In the second chart, Jupiter is the hora lord, i.e. ruler of the day. Though badhaka Jupiter is very well-placed in 12th in rasi chart, he is in marana karaka sthana in D-10. However, lagna lord is exalted in 10th. So, the day is not as good as the previous day. Kerry may not be able to repeat the Michigan and Washington performance in Maine. However, it will hardly affect his spirit. He will still be very happy. Bottomline: Kery will ace the Michigan and Washington caucuses. Maine will be less much impressive, but he it will not have much impact on Kerry. (2) Howard Dean: 7 Feb 2004, 9:49 am (TZ: 5:00 west), 74w00, 40n438 Feb 2004, 9:24 am (TZ: 5:00 west), 74w00, 40n43 The first chart is active at the time the results of Michigan and Washington come in. Mars is lagna lord as well as hora lord. He is in Aries lagna in rasi! However, Rahu with Mars blocks him. So there will be some boldness coming in the day, but it will have some blockage. The seocnd chart is also good. Hora lord is Mercury. He is in 11th from Pisces lagna in AL. In D-10, he is lagna lord with 9th lord Rahu in 6th. He is well-placed. He will do well in Maine too. Bottomline: Michigan and Washington will be morale-boosters for Dean. Though the Govenror of Washington supports Kerry, Dean's performance in Washington will be commendable. Maine will also be good. (3) John Edwards: 6 Feb 2004, 11:37 pm (TZ: 5:00 west), 82w57, 34n417 Feb 2004, 11:22 pm (TZ: 5:00 west), 82w57, 34n41 The first chart is active when the Michigan and Washington results come in. Moon is the hora lord. He is with Jupiter in AL. In D-10 also, he is in samasaptaka with Jupiter in 5th in own sign. But he is badhaka. The indications are neither too good nor too bad. In the second chart, hora lord is Jupiter. He is well-placed in rasi and dasamsa. We cannot expect Edwards to win, but he will do very well for someone who did not campaign strongly in Maine. Bottomline: John Edwards is concentrating on the south and on Feb 10. But he will have a decent showing in Maine. He may be ok in Michigan and Washington also overall. (4) Wes Clark: 7 Feb 2004, 12:28 pm (TZ: 5:00 west), 87w39, 41n518 Feb 2004, 12:01 pm (TZ: 5:00 west), 87w39, 41n51 The two charts are average. Clark will have an average showing in both places. There are no indications like dropping out or anything. Clark may not do well in these caucuses like he did in North Dakota or Oklahoma. Bottomline: Wes Clark is also concentrating on south and Feb 10. He will have a decent showing everywhere, but nothing special. Maine may be better. * * * Neither Clark nor Edwards will gain that much on Feb 7 and 8. Also they will not drop out or something. But Feb 8 is better for both. Kerry and Dean will do better than others. Kerry will do well on Feb 7 and Feb 8 may be a bit disappointing. Dean group's morale will be boosted to a considerable extent (but the really good period will come only after Feb 12). Guest guest
Namaste friends, I wrote: > Neither Clark nor Edwards will gain that much on Feb 7 and 8. > Also they will not drop out or something. For those outside of USA and wondering what happened, here is the summary. At Michigan and Washington on Feb 7, there were 204 delegates up for grabs overall. Kerry won both the states and picked up 138 delegates overall. Dean was second in both and he picked up 53. Edwards picked up 6 (but neither Edwards nor Clark really campaigned here and expected much). Kucinich, who I totally ignored, picked up the remaining 7. At Maine on Feb 8, which has only 24 delegates at stake, networks reported after half the votes were counted that Kerry has 45% of the counted votes and Dean has 26%. Edwards has 9% and Clark has 4%. * * * Kerry did ace the two states on Feb 7 as expected. I expected some disappointment for him on Feb 8, but I guess I was not correct. Perhaps Jupiter in 3rd in own sign is not such a big deal, compared to Jupiter in 3rd in somebody else's house. Though the really good period is still 4 days away for Dean as I said above, he did better than in the past as expected by me. After being placed in single digit percentages in some states on Feb 3, there was finally a morale boost for him - he came second in all the three states this weekend. He was much ahead of Edwards and Clark everywhere this weekend. Dean said in a CNN interview today: "I hate to totally gild the lily, but in fact our second-place finishes are stronger than any we've had since New Hampshire. We're starting to come back". So I was correct on this weekend giving some morale boost to Dean and also correct in expecting Kerry and Dean to do better than Edwards and Clark. There was nothing special, positive or negative, for Clark and Edwards. * * * But I am aware that my real test will come a little later, in a week or two. If the Dean chart is accurate, Dean should come back, starting from Feb 11. If he fails in Wisconsin and drops from the race, as the political pundits seem to be expecting, I will have gone wrong. Based on a non-astrological common sense viewpoint, that seems increasingly likely now. Kerry is winning everywhere and momentum is with him. Anyway, I will wait and watch. BTW, Kucinich is not believed to have any real chance and so I ignored him. I will continue to ignore him, unless he does extremely well in some place. In any case, it'll be nice to have his chart. Please share his birthdata if you have it. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha - Narasimha P.V.R. Guest guest
Dear List, I take the liberty to point towards an anamoly in the behaviour of Shri PVR Narsimha Rao. He says "I would prefer not to help 50 people but to spend time for jyotish education and research rather; as this reserch would help 50,000 people." But you see: I requested help with regard to my chart in December last week through the list as I was really in need of some expert help. I am running a very low phase in life and thought if somebody having command and authority could really help me. But what happened: Shri PVR did not have time for helping me as I am not Sachin Tendulkar who is not able to make runs, and suddenly who performs well due to some dasha-antardasha - on which time is devoted by great astrologers and predictions are given for Sachin Tendulkar; even he never gave the time of his birth to the list, but his time of birth was rectified with great effort and articles were written containing predictions for him; while all this time the REAL Sachin Tendulkar never bothered who is doing rectification, and who is giving what prediction at what forum. Also, I am not President Bush or Kerry of some country, who never gave any birth-data to the great astrologers, and who never sought his help, and who never really cared for the predicitions given by a particular astrologer; but even then lot of time and energy was spent on the rectification and analysis of their charts. I accept that great astrologers should only devote them towards research only and I donot want a chart-help at the cost of their precious time, which is to be devoted towards research; but I object : How can you distinguish between two charts, how can you say that one chart is helping you in doing research and the other is not containing anything which will give/not give you an insight in your research? I put this humble question to Guru Shri Raoji PVR Narsimhaji. regards and pranaam, Pankaj Sharma
