It will be nice to read specific contributions either a case study or a principle that can be applied! Jyotish is as complex as the Universe. In other words, it can be that complex. But, I'd suggest you approach in more simple ways, especially in the beginning. That way you develop a firm, solid foundation and don't get yourself all confused. It reminds me of when I used to study Mathemathics. Math, is extremely comples too. But, I learned when I was very yound to just take it step at a time and as I really mastered the first step...then move into the next. Now, when studying Jyotish, another thing I'd recomend...and that is to first start from what you know. Especially at the beginning, what we know re. Jyotish is the least, but what we do know is something about ourselves... So, I recomend to people, to first make an exchaustive, very detailed list of what you know about yourself... Your qualities, tendencies, characteristics... then branch off into your relationships with others... how many brothers and sisters you have... what kinds of subjects did you like in school... what kind of career are you in... whatever...and everything... this is who you are! And if you study your jyotish from this point of view...you'll more easily find the literal '1 to 1 correspondence' between you...and your jyotish.. then as you get more and more 'sure' of your jyotish, you'll be able to branch out into this advanced or that advanced topic. hope this helps... ciao Sincerely, Mark Kincaid PS....I don't know if you've heard, but I also write a Jyotish newsletter. It includes a daily, Transits newsletter as well as other aspects of Jyotish as well. If you, or anyone else in this group is interested, in subscribing, feel free to contact me personally at: m.kincaid (AT) mchsi (DOT) com And the newsletter is free. > Chandrashekhar <boxdel (AT) (DOT) co.uk> > Wed, 04 Feb 2004 01:26:12 +0530 > kanwarpreet_grewal <kanwarpreet_grewal > > Cc: vedic astrology > Re: [vedic astrology] Extremely confused about a basic astrology > question > > Dear Kanwar, > Astrology learning is a difficult process, but one can learn with > perseverance.
