Guest guest
Namaste, Based on the daily TP charts, I will try to predict the fortunes of the presidential candidates in today's primaries and caucuses. [Disclaimer: These predictions need not come true.] (1) John Kerry: 2 Feb 2004, 7:58 pm (TZ: 6:00 west), 104w59, 39n44 Sun is the hora lord. He is the 10th lord in 5th with 5th lord Jupiter, in D-10. Lagna lord in D-10 is in a quadrant in 7th. This shows a good show. Kerry will do very well on Feb 3. (2) Howard Dean: 3 Feb 2004, 6:51 am (TZ: 5:00 west), 74w00, 40n43 Jupiter is the hora lord. He owns 3rd and 12th and occupies 8th. In D-10, he owns 3rd and 12th and joins 8th lord Sun in 3rd. Thus, Jupiter gives VRY. Lagna lord is exalted in 10th in D-10. He will be expected - and expecting - to do poorly, based on the forecasts, but he will do better than expected. He will find some hope. (3) John Edwards: 3 Feb 2004, 9:32 am (TZ: 5:00 west), 82w57, 34n41 Hora lord is Jupiter. In rasi, he is the badhaka lord in 12th, showing relief. In D-10, he is the 10th lord in 10th. Lagna lord in D-10 is exalted in 4th. Edwards will be relieved by his performance and will not be eliminated from the race today. His campaign will be rejuvenated today. He will probably pick up South Carolina and do well in some other states. (4) Wes Clark: 3 Feb 2004, 9:44 am (TZ: 5:00 west), 87w39, 41n51 Hora lord is Sun. He is the 10th lord in 5th with 5th lord Jupiter, in D-10. However, lagna lord Mars in D-10 is in 8th. He will do well, but not fully satisfied. At the end of the day, there may be some questions on his candidacy, but he may decide to continue in the race. (5) Joe Lieberman: 3 Feb 2004, 2:38 pm (TZ: 5:00 west), 73w32, 41n03 Joe Lieberman's daily chart resembles Dick Gaphardt's daily chart of Jan 19, when he dropped out of the race. Just like in Gaphardt's daily chart's D-10, hora lord Jupiter is in 8th in D-10. In rasi, Jupiter is the 10th lord in marana karaka sthana. Liberman will do very poorly and may even drop out of the race after today's primaries. When he came 5th at NH, he resorted to face- saving by claiming that there was a tight race for 3rd and that he was a joint 3rd. He may not be afforded with such an opportunity tomorrow. Bottomline: Kerry will do well. He will pick up several states. Dean will do much better than expected. Edwards will be relieved by his performance. He may win in SC and do well in some others. His campaign will be rejuvenated. Clark will do well, but not meet his expectations. Lieberman will be disappointed almost everywhere and will need a reality check. Lieberman is the real loser of the day while all others have something or the other to cheer about. Guest guest
||Om Brihaspataye Namah|| Dear Narasimha, Namaste. Your predictions are on the spot; Joe Lieberman has dropped out and as expected, Kerry & Edwards have done well while Dean has vowed to stay in the race. No idea about Clark but it looks like a mixed bag of results for him. regards Hari vedic astrology, "pvr108" <pvr@c...> wrote: > Namaste, > > Based on the daily TP charts, I will try to predict the fortunes of > the presidential candidates in today's primaries and caucuses. > > [Disclaimer: These predictions need not come true.] > > (1) John Kerry: > > 2 Feb 2004, 7:58 pm (TZ: 6:00 west), 104w59, 39n44 > > Sun is the hora lord. Guest guest
Dear Hari, Actually, I wasn't spot on. I consider this 4 out of 5. I was right about Kerry. He did "very well". I was right about Edwards. I said his campaign will be rejuvenated. I said he will win in SC and do well in some other states. He did win in SC and is locked in a tight race for the top spot in OK. He gambled ahead of the primaries by saying that he "must" win in SC in order to continue, but it did pay off. His campaign is indeed rejuvenated. Clark is second in a couple of states and locked for the top spot in OK. I said he will do ok, but not fully satisfied. It may indeed be true, because he spent so much time on OK and so much money on SC. Even if he wins in OK now, it is so close and he must be disappointed. Lieberman was the clearest of them all. He dropped out as I said. The only candidate on whom I think I failed today is Dean. He was not expecting to win in any state and did not even put out ads or campaign in any of the seven states. He is betting his money on this weekend's MI, WA and ME races and WI of Feb 17. However, based on the VRY involving hora lord (even though hora lord Jupiter in 3rd is in marana karaka sthana in D-10, making this a tricky judgment), I honestly expected some consolation for him. I expected him to win or come a close second in atleast one state. I was clearly wrong. Dean reached double digits in only some states and was in single digits in others. They're not yet saying anything about New Mexico, but Dean did not campaign there at all and Clark, Lieberman and Kerry are supposed to be strong there. So we can expect the same single digit performance from Dean there. I was wrong on Dean. But overall it was good. I will try it for other primaries as well. I gave the chart data for all the daily TP charts I used, so that people can check my calculations and conclusions. I hope people find it useful. Speaking about NYTimes, it seems that Astrology (of the Western type) has made it to the Op-Ed column. Comments given there are pretty general and one can compare it with daily TP charts as illustrated by you to see the difference. http://www.nytimes.com/2004/02/03/opinion/03SULL.html?pagewanted=all regards Hari
