Question to PVR regarding JHL 5.0 free version

The fact is that these special lagna's are very sensitive to the time of

Sunrise and this has been adjusted in the newer version of JHL 5. If I'm

right, Narasimha has put "edge of Sun apparently on the horizon" as

default. Maybe it would be better for him to readjust the sunrise to "edge

of Sun truly on the horizon" or give the option free to choose between the

3 options. I have noticed recently in a chart that Hora Lagna even jumped

2 signs different according to the older version. Which is very confusing,

and I do not agree with it.

Dear Dhira and Narasimha,

 

After reading this post, I noticed that my chart also has the same

perhaps worse problems (in terms of differences of the two

softwares). With the original JHL, my Moon is at 13 Pi 19. In JHL 5,

it shows up at 13 Pi 21. My GL used to be with Moon in Libra Navamsa.

With JHL 5, Moon has moved forward to Scorpio Navamsa, and GL has

moved back to Virgo Navamsa. The Ayanamsa used in both JHL and JHL 5

is 23-24-1. How can the exact same Ayanamsa, exact same time produce

different positions of the Moon?

I haven't noticed any change in HL position from one /free/ HL to another

'free/? Maybe some special set-up I haven't noticed?Narasimha promissed TP

annual charts for free HL5- would be great if he would let us know WHEN/IF that

will happen?
