Guest guest
||Namah Shivaaya|| Dear Gulabo, One should keepo in mind that Aquarius is co-lorded by Saturn as well as Rahu. Considering Shani Dev in the 12th of Aries is not a complete picture. Other factors to be considered are the Artha Trikonas (Houes 2, 6, 10), argalas, Drishtis as well as the sub divisions. Besides the Navamsa (D9), one should also examine the Dasamsa (D10) for a finer eye on the happenings of the chart. Also consider Arudhas, as they represent the rise of an image. So the A10, the AL etc. are also important. Going deeper, 10th from Lagna 10th from AL 10th from Moon 10th from Sun (some also consider 4th) .... should be considered as well. Planets in 6th and 7th House reflect whether the person will be inclined to go for service as opposed to being self-employed. One has to take a whilistic approach. I hope that some of this helps. Take care. Nitin. :> Namah Shivaaya vedic astrology, "gulabo_jain" <gulabo_jain> wrote: > Dear Friends, > I had read one of the messages here that if the 10th lord is in the > 12th house then it is not good for career. Guest guest
Dear Gulabo, There are 11 players in a team. What if an important player does not perform well, or does not score satisfactory runs. Whether, can it be predicted that team will not sum reasonable total, or face failure...Obviously not. We have comearcoss lots of celebrities charts, having 10th (or even 1st or 9th) lord is placed in trik bhav (6th, 8th, 12th). But they raised and gained wealth, name and fame. What I want to say, is that overall assessment takes more value than individual analysis. In horoscope no single house stand alone, all are connected with each other somehow. Here are some essentials: (1) Any house has two natural linkages, backward and forward on the basis of element trinity. That is 5th and 9th therefrom-Parasar denotes them Lakshmi Sthan. A house takes guidance/opportunity/help from 9th and assists 5th from itself, provided there are not hinderace on account of Aspect, Argala and Bhadak. In this sense, 10th house is linked with 6th and 2nd. The 6th house (services, work) helps 10th house, and as a result 10th house(Karma, Career) provides guidance/help to 2nd house in the form of assests, food, etc. The 9th also shows who made you(or whatever house indication) i.e. input and 5th indicates what you create or produce i.e. output. The important point is that houses trine to each other contain identical ruling elements(Tattwa), lead to mutual harmony among them and ultimately prosperity is resulted. (2) The second important relation is on the basis of characteristic. The identical characteristic or quality i.e. cardinal, fixed, and dual support each other to sustain. Quadrants from a house consist of same quality and therefore important in this regards. Parasar denotes kendar bhavas as Vishnu Sthana. Hence quadrants (kendar bhavas) to any house help each other to survive. Now take 10th house as an example, 1st, 4th and 7th become kendar to it, and strengthen the 10th house. (3) Upachayas(3rd, 6th, 10th, 11th) from a house yield sufficient ingredients to grow and progress. But upachaya bhavas preferablly occupied by malefics. Look amongst, four mentioned upachay bhavas, 3rd and 6th are Tamasic and remaining two 10th and 11th houses are Rajasic in nature. Let malefics are in upachaya from Lagna, then this makes one active, aggressive and couragouse. And natural beneic here makes one non-voilent, coward, and easy going. But there is yoga entitled Vasumathi, says natural benefics in 3rd, 6th, 10 and 11th results in plenty of wealth. Now take 10th as an example, 12th, 3rd, 7th and 11th becomes upachaya thereform. Thus malefics from 10th shapes ones career(not indiviaul himself) dynamic, aggressive and innovative. While benefics in upachaya from 10th (for profession in general) and from 7th for Business, lead to tender, peace loving, and non competitive work. (4) The trik or dushtana bhavas(6th, 8th, 12th) stand for evil matters for any house. Not only from lagna but also from a house itself, dushtana from lagna shows evils with respect to oneself and dushtana from a specific house shows inaupiciousnes with respect to that specific house understudied. It may in the form of disease, burden, fear, mistakes, loss, expenditure etc. They produce obsticles in the steady path of prosperity. It is to be noted that Dushtana Bhavas works against the will and functions of Trinkoon Bhavas. The 6th from any house cause decay/death of its output and creativity; 8th from any house works for failure and cease of opportunity/guidance/guide for that house; and 12th from any house reveals loss of whatever that house stands for. They comparision between the strength of trines and dushtana houses give the net sum total one achieves. Though there exists some other categories of houses to be analysed, and it is possible that one house may fall into different category at a time. But these basic four essentials ought to take first, i.e. Trikoon, Kendaras, Upachayas and Dushtanas for any house concerned. Hope this may help in understanding house with the help of mentioned above relations. While as far as, 10th house analysis is concern, I think Nitin wrote well on it. But 10th house stands for lots of indications, and therefore contains Saturn, Mercury, Sun and Jupiter as karakas. House occupation contains more weightage than house rulership, secondly Aspects and Dispositors modify the general rules upto great extent. Vargas placement is another indication of getting amended results. Therefore emphasize on the rulership placement only is not first step to analyse a house effects.
