Dear Abhijeet,

Manglik is a term used as per the placement of Mars in the

rashi chart.If Mars is placed in the 1st, 2nd,4th,7th,8th or 12th house the

native is called a manglik.Some people do not consider the second house

placement.People with the above placement of Mars, should get married after the

age of 28 years which is when Mars matures and the effects are atleast cooled

down a bit if not completely gone.

Now you can cast the given chart and see for yourself if the native is a

Manglik.This is just to help you see things for yourself in the charts.

Dear Kanupriya,Members

Thanks for the comments !! Ya i do know when Mars is in those

particular houses it makes a person manglik..

But what about other good planets placed and good aspects wouldnt

that nullify the manglik dosha ??? For eg in this chart Jupiter is

in Taurus, wouldnt this atleast nullify the effect to certain

extent ?? As every chart has both good and bad placements of

planets..

Dear Abhijeet NAmaste

When shubha graha is placed in kendra mangal dosha gets nullified

moreso if it is with mangal itself. Shukra, natural benefic, is

exalted and is with mangal in 4th house but is functional malefic .

But again Ve-Ju are in parivartan yoga. Moreover, mangal is weak in

navamansha. This will nullify mangal dosha.

Additionally, to dhana lagna, mangal in kendra is good and it

nullifies mangal dosha. So the given chart is not mangalik chart. His

married life will not be disturbed because of mangal dosha.

Ofcourse this is my opinion and can be totally wrong.

I personally dont believe in the ' no dosha' concept

specially when Mars is placed in the 7th house.In my opinion Mars in the 7th

house is bound to give it's effects no matter what the other placements are.I

have no doubt on this.

I should have clarified that Manglik does'nt mean death of the

spouse only.There will be problems in the first relationship or marriage .The

person may face problems with a few other things like temprament but it does

not allways mean death.

Dear Kanupriya,

I think you are making a blanket statement. My wife has similar Mars

and we are married happily for the last 30 years. Swee has met my wife

at Puri and can attest to this.

the 7th house gives troubles.Was there a broken engagement before the marriage

or such ? Did you get married after the age of 27 years.

treasure the times together, thrashing out charts. I was just looking

into my chart as to why I received the full darshan from Sri Jagannatha!

Kanupriya: Back to basics. My 12th lord Mars on the ascendant is

strongly linked with my ascendant lord. The activation came in during

mahadasa of Venus. Exalted Mars conjoins Venus in Aquarius navamsa. This

falls into my 9th house in rasi, whose lord is in parivatana with Venus.

We know from standard dictum that when a benefic conjoins a malefic,

there is a switch in roles. Hence the role of Mars came into fruition

during Venus/Venus - Became leader of the pack in school, then overseas

trips for being in the national team, then later, Venusian limelight

during my teens, etc etc
