Guest guest
Namaste friends, Right now, democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean's campaign seems to be in a disarray. He was supposed to be the front-runner, but came a poor third in Iowa and trailed Kerry by a double digit percentage in New Hampshire. After the twin shocks, he sacked the chief of his operations today and a new chief was brought in. He is conceding that he may not win any of the seven primaries on Feb 3 and concentrating on the Michigan primary of Feb 7 instead. Many political commentators are writing Dean off. One political pundit predicted on MSNBC tonight after the debate that Kerry will win big on Feb 3 and that it will all be over then! Notwithstanding the current terrible position of Dean, my prediction is that Dean will bounce back slowly now. Especially, he has a good period from Feb 11 to April 7. During this time, his campaign will pick up steam and leave all behind. Kerry's good run will be halted in the second week of February and Dean will start to cruise ahead. [Disclaimer: As an astrologer, I am not at all infallible. This prediction need not come true. A lot of different factors can lead to a failed prediction, including, but not limited to, inaccurate birthdata and half-baked knowledge. I cannot guarantee against either! :-( ] Those who are more interested in astrological analysis than predictions may want to read on! * * * The birthdata of Howard Dean is 17 Nov 1948, 7:21 pm (EST), New York City. This data is rated A for accuracy by Lois Rodden's site. Please see: http://www.astrodatabank.com/NM/DeanHoward.htm Some basic checks: (1) Gemini lagna makes him intellectual and analytical. Guru-Mangala yoga in 7th makes him an outspoken person of integrity. (2) The 5th lord debilitated in 4th may seem like a bad placement, but it is not. If you note that Mercury (5th lord) and Venus (4th lord) are exchanging houses, you'll see that Venus gives the results of exalted Mercury in 4th and Mercury gives the result of moolatrikona Venus in 5th! They give a great raja yoga and bring blessings of Vishnu (the Hindu god of sustenance). This yoga brings fame, power and support. In fact, it was during Mercury period-Venus sub-period as per Lagna Vimsottari dasa that he was first elected as the Governor of Vermont. (3) D-10 (chart pf career) has 10th lord Sun with Rahu, confirming a medical profession. The 10th lord in 9th shows an independent nature in profession. (4) I have rectified the D-60 lagna to Aq from Cp for reasons I cannot explain here. This chart seems reasonably accurate. * * * Now, let us check the annual TP chart (annul lunar return chart) of 2003-04. Data is: 10 Dec 2003, 12:38:30 am (EST). Hora lord is Mercury and he is the ruler of the year. He is the lagna and 10th lord in rasi chart. He is in the 15th deg of Sg, while 9th lord Venus is in the 23rd deg of Sg and 5th lord Saturn is in the 18th deg of Ge. Clearly, Mercury has an excellent raja yoga with Venus and Saturn. This is likely to be a good year. Now let us look at the annual Tithi Ashtottari dasa: Tithi Ashtottari Dasa of Janma tithi (useful especially in Tithi Pravesha charts): Maha Dasas: Moon: 2003-11-27 (00:33:53) - 2004-01-16 (04:59:50) Mars: 2004-01-16 (04:59:50) - 2004-02-11 (11:32:57) Merc: 2004-02-11 (11:32:57) - 2004-04-07 (03:55:02) Sat: 2004-04-07 (03:55:02) - 2004-05-09 (09:26:30) Jup: 2004-05-09 (09:26:30) - 2004-07-10 (11:40:10) Rah: 2004-07-10 (11:40:10) - 2004-08-19 (16:57:50) Ven: 2004-08-19 (16:57:50) - 2004-10-26 (17:12:54) Sun: 2004-10-26 (17:12:54) - 2004-11-15 (17:12:50) Moon: 2004-11-15 (17:12:50) - 2005-01-04 (19:57:39) Unfortunately, Mars dasa is quite bad. Why? In rasi chart, Mars is the 8th lord in 7th, showing great disappointments. Being the 8th lord afflicting A10 (arudha pada of 10th), he brings obstacles and disappointments in work. In D-10 also, he is a malefic and afflicts 9th lord and AL lord Saturn. Interestingly, some temper shown in one public performance was behind some of the beating his imahe took (Mars afflicting AL lord in 6th=image tampering with temper)! >From whatever angle we see, Mars dasa is not a good dasa. It undoes a lot of promise in the chart. However, is it likely to continue like this for ever? No! Why? On Feb 11, the dasa will change to Mercury and that dasa will last for two months. Mercury is the ruler of the year and takes part in great raja yogas in rasi chart. Even in D-10, he has a raja yoga with Jupiter. Being with Jupiter in the 3rd from AL in a fiery sign in D-10, he gives the image of an idealist in firm control of his emotions. So the beating his image took will be undone and he will come across much better and will also start accumulating more delegates. Soon after (or even a little before) Mercury dasa starts, the dynamic will change in Dean's favor. The political pundits who are writing the obituary of his campaign now will sing praises of his spirited comeback. Atleast, that is what I believe will happen! Guest guest
Narsimhaji, Namastey. Thanks for sharing the analyis on Dean. He is my favorite Presedential Candidate. I have posted the birth data of a very important person yesterday. The difference is that folks here don't know who he/she is? Knowing the details of a person might lead to some natural guess work. I want to see if some one could guess or narrow down the event which took place in last 4 days and another related event which might take place in next few months? I will be anxious to know if somone could tell and predict correctly by just looking at Astrological data, with no knowledge of background of the person. Having said it, I undretsand that no one is perfect and astrology is a complicated science. I have posted the person's birth data to the best of my knowledge. If some questions need to be answered in order to rectify the birth time, I will try my best to get those answers. Thanks again.
